"We were a group of 5 couples, who do an annual ski trip. This unit was in a perfect spot for ski in/out, and felt more than large enough to accomodate a group of our size (which is rare). We do all cooking in house, so were happy to see a full kitchen, stocked with all of the tools we would need. The hot tub was large and clean. Great stay! We would love to come back."

Perfect spot for a ski vacation. Must be so beautiful in the summer as well."

"Great ski lodge! Cozy. 5 minute walk to the lifts/village. Only issue was not being able to control the hot tub temperature… it was too hot to use unfortunately. Everything else was great!"

"The Stemwinder Shalet is a beautiful home and was very well stocked. We were a group of four families, whom all had kids between 6 and 8 years and there was tons of room for all of us. Tod was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The location is close to the ski resort but wasn’t quite ski-in/ski-out. It took about 5-10 min to walk up to the lift. When the path is snowed in enough, you can just about ski pole your way to the backyard. For most, it was just easier to drive the 1-2...

"We very much enjoyed our stay at this house, a group of families with youngish kids. The house was spacious and so close to the ski hill that made it easy to get up for a day of skiing. We found the house extremely well stocked for anything you would need to cook and clean - even had a lemon squeezer! The host was very communicative and responsive when we were out of an item it was quickly restocked."

"The house was amazing, the only thing that should be changed is it is not a true ski in property. Crossing a gravel road in skis is not an acceptable ski in property. That said, the house was fantastic, well equipped, and very well set up."

We love the new path to the lake because it is perfect for our elderly grand parents and our young children. There is seating for all of us to eat at one time too enjoy telling stories. The lake house and the lake front property are exactly as described and we recommend this property for family reunions. Two of our children caught their first fish right off the dock here and they are still talking...
