"This hotel was a great find. Chantilly is a pretty town and we very much enjoyed staying here for our trip to Paris. We got the fast train into Paris Gare Du Nord with our two young sons for a Paris day trip rather than staying in Paris itself. Station was 5 mins walk from hotel which was perfect, and the journey direct to Paris took only 30 mins. We ate both nights in nearby restaurants, again just a few mins walk away. Our family room was spotless and very comfortable. Air con worked well. Parking was easy (behind the hotel; booked in advance) and good value. Nothing to fault. We would love to come and see more of Chantilly and visit the chateau which we only saw as we drove out; it looked incredible. Thank you Best Western. This is a fine example of your hotel brand. "

"Beautiful Chateau. Loverly quaint boutique hotel. It’s just lacking organisation in front of house bar / restaurant service. The food menu is very limited so if you are staying for more than a couple of nights it gets a little tired. Also inconsistency based on chef sometimes the food is amazing and other days it’s average. The Thursday night special restaurant we were excited for was a real disappointment. But again it’s a beautiful place and we greatly enjoyed our stay. "

"We arrived in heavy rain, and the owner, brought out broken umbrellas. He initially said we couldn’t drive up to drop off bags but allowed it in the end because of the weather. The property looked decent at first, but once inside our “best room,” the reality hit hard. The room stank of stale, dirty odours. The bathroom smelled like awful, persistent drain fumes—not just a normal toilet smell. The kettle was filthy, and the water came out cloudy—luckily, I noticed before drinking it. Everything was grimy and thick dust: bed, towels, furniture, even the disposable slippers looked decades old and used. We couldn’t face staying here for even one night and checked out within hours. We booked a 5-star hotel nearby for just £100 more than we paid here—totally worth it. The worst part? The owner ignored all our attempts to communicate—no apology, no explanation, no refund. Expedia tried to help but couldn’t secure one. This kind of customer service is shocking and unacceptable. The charming exterior is worlds apart compared to the filthy, neglected interior. Our anniversary trip was ruined, and we had to scramble for another hotel at extra cost and stress. Hotels don’t need to be fancy—just clean, welcoming, and responsive. This place was none of those. Avoid Manoir des Cavaliers. "
