There were many shops and restaurants in the village which made it even more special. The hotel does offer breakfast which was very good. "Getting into the hotel was an absolute nightmare because it requires online check-in to obtain an access code. Never in my worldwide travels have I encountered a hotel without a receptionist or an attendant. No elevator to access upper floors but a very squeaky winding staircase that is unsafe to descent on with a large and heavy suitcase. Ergo, left mine in car. Breakfast wasn't available after 8:15 am because all other guests had departed. Room was clean without typical amenities. In other words, the most miserable place I ever encountered in one of the most beautiful places in Germany. Please don't offer this facity to American travelers. "
