"My son and I travelled for a week through New England hiking, and none of the hotels we stayed in showed as much hospitality as the owners of the Smuggler's Notch Inn. Pat welcomed us when we arrived, gave us info on where we could get dinner (the attached Village Tavern was great), and our bedroom with attached bathroom was charming and comfortable. The icing on the cake was a delicious cooked-to-order breakfast by Pat's husband before we set off to hike Mount Mansfield. I would book there again "

"Fantastic place to stay. Friendly staff. Large and beautiful room with a fireplace and comfortable beds. View of mountains from windows and patio. Room has a coffee pot but no food available from hotel. Restaurant next door has limited hours but other dining options are close. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. "

"Amazing property. Gorgeous shared spaces with rustic chic decor. Exterior landscaping and grounds are beautiful. Exterior hot tubs, sauna and more. Breakfasts are incredible- delicious homemade on-premises breads and jams and much more. Service incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. Bedrooms are ok: Tiniest bathroom ever in our room, no dresser or other place to put clothes. Happy vibe of everything else sparked so much joy I didn’t care that much. "

"We were hiking all day and checked in and was extremely happy to hear they had two hot tubs. Perfect. Also, the ice machine was the best and having the patios outside of the room was a nice touch. Also, Breakfast was fantastic, the nice lady individually cooked us eggs, sausage and potatoes and cooked up nice size portions. The only drawback was they had no carts to bring your stuff in the room because of the few stair they had and the TV in the room was very small but other than those two things this was a great place! "
