"The hotel general condition of the hotel and pool has gone downhill significantly in the past 4 years since our last stay. The room itself was fine and in good condition but everywhere else looked tired and needed a refresh. The pool changing rooms were especially poor. The bar was really overcrowded in the evening to the point we gave up trying to find a table and headed straight to our room. "

"We stayed for two nights in a Townhouse room, which is in a separate building from the hotel. The staff was excellent - very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. The hotel is beautifully appointed. The location is close enough to activities but quiet and peaceful. The room was small but very comfortable and the shower was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again."

"Compact but everything you need, lacked a spare pillow but everything else adequate and very modern. Bed comfy an great selection of toiletries. "

"Dirty rooms and bathrooms, additionally it was like a sauna in there. The window only opens a crack which doesn’t help. Staff was difficult to understand (I speak English) and security very rude. The common area was decent but nobody really uses it. Don’t cheap out just get a hotel room. "

"The hotel is within comfortable walking distance into the city centre, with the Brazen Head pub only a few minutes away. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the room compact but had everything we needed, including tea and coffee making facilities. The bed was really comfortable. The continental breakfast buffet was good, and the staff were welcoming."
