About the home
"A Perfect Ten" is a family & pet friendly home in central Cowes, just a few minutes walk from the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The spacious Living area features a modern, fully equipped Kitchen, a delightful, sunlit Dining space and superbly furnished Lounge area (with a 65 inch flat screen Smart TV, Bluetooth soundbar & Blueray DVD player). The master Bedroom has WIR (and twin USB charging points & a smart TV) plus an en-suite (with shower & toilet), while the second Bedroom also has a TV. Bedroom 2 and 3 each have BIR, plus there is also a main Bathroom (with bath & shower), a separate Toilet and a fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer). All Bedrooms are fitted with remote controlled LED lights and ceiling fans.
Outdoor Areas
Outdoor living includes a fully roofed deck housing a gas BBQ, a quality outdoor setting, an overhead heater and roller blinds. While the garage is not available to guests, the long driveway and high carport provide ample off-street parking for several vehicles plus a boat. There are also two mountain bikes available for use. The fully fenced backyard has a brand new electric heated swimming pool (6.2m long x 2.8m wide, depth 1.2m - 1.7m), as well a basketball hoop and play equipment providing a safe environment for the kids to play, and pets are welcome.
Please note, the temperature of the pool water, as well as the pool heating capacity, can be affected by the ambient (outside) temperature. If you have any queries about what this may mean for your stay, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Lavazza Pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, large fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and induction cook top. In addition, the home also has a slow cooker, food processor, nutribullet, sandwich press, electric frypan and milk frother.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The living area has a reverse cycle split system and all 3 bedrooms have ceiling fans and a column heater. There are also electric blankets in all 3 bedrooms for the Winter months.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 6 beds, plus a sofa bed, accommodating up to 10 guests:
Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: One Tri-Bunk and one set of single bunks
There is also a fold-out double divan in the living area that will sleep one adult or two children.
Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process - Local council restrictions are in place for this property and compliance is mandatory.
