"Ideal location for visiting Midhurst, Chichester and the South Downs. The outside space was a real let-down; unkempt and full of weeds with unloved garden furniture. It was a shame, as it would have provided a secure little spot to enjoy a glass of wine after a day's touring, or for having breakfast on sunny days. The interior itself could do with some tlc to address the peeling paint and it really needs a good, deep clean; the blinds, windows and mirrors were filthy. Please address these issues, and the house will be alovely, welcoming place to stay.."

"Terrific breakfast. We had a meal on Saturday evening which was also excellent. Bar was nice and buzzy and the service was first class. I’ve read a few reviews about the challenges with parking but it’s no more than several minutes away from a large and inexpensive car park. Room could do with a bit of TLC but given the price was very good value for money."

"Beautifully peaceful residence. Thought i was in the set of some idyllic film. Had not only my own room but a massive shower and use of the reception/ lounge area The outside was kissed by the sun pn a glorious day with loads of seating areas and the sound of the countryside I sat on a bench with my dog, a cup of tea and a book. Later on I found a brook bubbling around the property. My dog had a lovely adventure exploring the secured property. Miranda gave many options for breakfast- i chose the cooked option. Everything was cooked and displayed to perfection Pure bliss"

"Perfect location in a spacious flat in town, close to all amenities. Whilst it has off street parking, it is not very easy to manoeuvre around the gate. Fortunately there was no car parked beside me, which gave some wiggle room."

"House was very warm and cosy and we had a comfortable stay and would recommend it. Just a couple of points to bring to your attention for the benefit of others. The bed in the spare single room we assume had a broken base so there was a piece of MDF under the mattress which we caught our leg on a couple of times. The back door was hard to lock amd unlock. Some of the pots and pans were damaged or not thorughly cleaned by the previous occupants perhaps and under the beds could do with a hoover and tidy as we found out when trying to hide Xmas presents! All minor points so hope this is helpful. All in all a lovely place."

"I chose this location to be in the countryside within the South Downs National Park. I was not disappointed. I could hike locally or drive a few miles for endless trails and vistas. I could also easily drive to the coast or to visit many wonderful small towns and other destinations.The Lodge was clean and comfortable and offered all I needed. "
