"We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO in Athée-sur-Cher and honestly wished we could have stayed longer. The cottage is super cute and attached to the hosts’ home, which gave it a cozy, welcoming feel.The backyard was fantastic, and my son especially loved having the outdoor space to enjoy. The deck was also a wonderful place to unwind at the end of the day—or, in my case, get some work done in a peaceful setting. The Wi-Fi was excellent and made remote work easy.The two bedrooms were spacious, and the large bathroom—with a great shower and washer—was incredibly convenient. Everything was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed while exploring the local area.Although we didn’t get a chance to fully take advantage of them, I loved that there was a pâtisserie right next door and a local grocery store just a couple of doors down—very convenient.The hosts were lovely, incredibly welcoming, and very responsive throughout our stay. They were easy to communicate with, quick to answer questions, and made us feel well taken care of.The surrounding village was quiet and charming, with a relaxed small-town feel. It is right next to a church, so you do hear church bells, but that felt like part of the charm of staying in a traditional French village.Highly recommend!"

"Absolutley MAJICAL chateau! Beautiful interiors and exteriors including a gorgeous chefs kitchen worthy of nobility!! Plus the interior design is CLASS all the way! Just a gorgeous place to delight the senses! You will fall in love with Chateau De La Villaine!! "

"Simple, clean and effective for what we wanted. Note that you need to pay a road toll to get there (€2.60) and the same to return to the main north-south road. The breakfast was include. "Welcome was good, Lovely area and house, breakfast was great, nearly all homemade. Spa facilities are excellent - I would highly recommend a massage and if needed the acupuncture - worked wonders for me. Tattoos can be arranged too. Can't wait to return, the area is quiet and peaceful but, you can get to many chateau's and Tours very easily. Thank you N. "
