"Communication from the owners was poor right up until the day of check in. I made contact a few days before we were due to stay, to understand the process of check in. After reading my messages, they totally ignored them and we had to call the night before to make sure that our booking was actually in place. "Listing was not accurate and there was no dryer or heat in the home. Listing photos were amazing, but place was more run down than photos suggested. Stains, damaged cookware, uncomfortable beds, and terrifying stairs up to the bathroom and beds. This could be a good listing with some TLC so I'm hoping that happens."

"My family had a lovely stay at Bellflower Cottage on the working, peaceful Twyford Farm. Hosts were kind and we appreciated the welcome goodies and mince pies. Although the weather was cold, we were comfortably warm and appreciated the kindling and wood. Check in and out were a breeze."

"This was our second time staying at the Clermont Victoria. It's a great, central location, easy to get anywhere in the city as three train lines are connected to the hotel. We love the historic feel of the hotel and the wonderful breakfast. Last time we stayed (two years ago) the rooms also included a fully stacked mini bar with soft drinks, beer, wine, and yummy snacks. This time it was scaled way, way back to just two bottles of water and one bag of chips and one bag of popcorn and some old, hard candy that didn't look so good. We missed the mini bar for sure at the end of a long day of touring. Totally understand not including free wine and beer but the soft drinks, juices and better snacks were a really nice touch that we missed :( . That said, we really recommend the hotel if you are looking for a nice home base and plan on touring all over the city. "
