"What a great find, 26 Harbour Street is just around the bay from the Plockton Hotel, so a good bar and restaurant was only 2 minutes walk away! The house was lovely, well furnished, a lovely Aga kept the house warm. All the bedrooms were well appointed and all 3 bathrooms were of a similar standard. We had our 2 dogs with us and the boot room was ideal for keeping them contained after walks. I was a little reluctant to write this review because I would rather keep this little gem to myself -...

"Vindolanda is a stylish crofters cottage that has been thoughtfully and comfortably renovated. It is well equipped and has everything you need. We loved that each room has a fantastic view over the loch and the mountains. Also, it is great for two couples as it has two similar sized stylish bedrooms. The bathroom has a super shower and bath. "Super location (as long as you like a little solitude) with cracking views. Lovely clean, comfortable and well-equipped cottage that you looked forward to returning to after a busy day. Not a lot in the village amenity wise but the pub is nice and is doing takeaway food during the current restrictions, so at least you don`t have to cook if you really don`t want to. "Had a really good stay here with the family. It was definitely a true Scottish experience having to use the woodburner to heat the lounge and great that the cottage was up together but traditional. It wasn’t overly modernised but not dated either. Would definitely return. Well positioned for many good walks."

Being covid aware at the moment, the property was spotlessly clean and hand sanitisers provided. The furnishings all modern and comfortable.
