This didn't happen. The door was looked and no one was there. "We really enjoyed our stay here. It's minutes walk from the downtown center of Beaune and was a very spacious unit. As mentioned in several reviews, the stairs up are reminiscent of an old castle staircase, what you would expect in a home of this age in Beaune, so if you can't stand to carry your bag up stairs, it wouldn't be for you. We are middle-age and healthy so we had no issue. I would definitely stay at this unit again."

"Terraces were very large and perfect for the warm weather. The flat was large and comfortable. The front door to the building was glass and it was smashed. It was propped open when we arrived but was closed and locked with the smashed glass for the rest of the time.
