"The location is a short 20 min drive from the airport on an amazing piece of property. Secluded in the hills overlooking Faro. Very comfortable home with everything you need for a short or long stay. Private pool and deck. Pond to enjoy your morning coffee. Hosts are easy going and able to be contacted quickly if you need them. 5 out of 5 for sure."

"Absolutely perfect. Peaceful, wonderful to be away from the madding crowds. The villa was beautiful, well equipped, clean. The restaurant, 2 minutes down the road is amazing, we had a restful holiday. "

"First, I will comment about the "team" at Casa Yeanos. Eddy contacted us several time before and during our stay to insure we were happy and had everything we needed. The property manager met us to tour the property when we checked in and again when we checked out. They were always available to answer questions or offer recommendations. There are others such as the housekeeper, gardener, and pool person you could see during your stay. The property is in the hills above Faro. It's a walled property with a security gate and private parking. Depending on the time of day it could take up to 30 minutes to get to the old town of Faro where many excellent restaurants are located. I would like to mention Le Marquis as being the best dining experience while atayinf at Casa Yaenos. It's about a 10 minute drive from the property. It's French inspired and totally worth the slightly higher costs. The house is large enough for most families and small groups. It was only me and my spouse on this trip so we had more than enough room to spread out. The outside area is very nice (in spring, Summer, and early fall. The pool is large enough to accomodate children on one end and floating adults on the other end. There are no close neighbors to impinge on your privacy. The kitchen is adequately equipped (average VRBO) to allow cooking but you will need to supply your own spices. The bedrooms are well sized with baths in suite. We totally enjoyed our stay at Casa Yaenos. "

"Wow! Casa Estrela is absolutely stunning and the photos cannot prepare you for the views out to the sea. The information emailed by Paul the owner before arrival was very helpful and detailed - make sure to read it fully before arrival for instructions on accessing the house. The main bedroom is huge, with its own en suite and large balcony. The house is perfect for large groups and we will be bringing our family here at a later date. The pool is wonderful and set on its own terrace, which gives a nice alternative for meals (a BBQ and kitchenette down here). You definitely need a car to make the most of the area, as the villa is set up a long private drive. We enjoyed the local beaches and the palace of Estoi and Roman ruins nearby. However, Casa Estrela has absolutely everything you need and you could quite happily never leave the villa Thank you so much for such an incredible stay, you have a truly beautiful villa. We look forward to staying again! "

"This is our second visit to this villa, Maria who takes care of the property on behalf of the owner is on hand and nothing is too much trouble. It’s in walking distance to Intermarche for groceries, 2 minutes to a restaurant and 10 minutes to a cafe. Patricia is quick to answer any questions, we messaged asking for coasters and an outside ashtray which we found left outside the door within a few hours. The only suggestion I would make is a a basic welcome basket for late night arrivals would be the icing on the cake. The villa is great for our needs and we will be back next year "

"We had a wonderful week in mid Sept in this villa. The villa was so well equipped and the pool was immaculate. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy the views of the hills from the veranda, and the luxury of our own very private and big pool in the heat of the day. The villa has everything you could need to self cater, with a good choice of supermarkets and shops in Sao Bras. We liked that although the villa is very luxurious, it also.has a homely feeling, so we felt we could relax. We loved the little town of Sao Bras de Alportel, it really has everything you could want, with several restaurants a wonderful patisserie on the square and takeaways if you need them. It is not in any way touristy, but has an interesting history and very friendly locals. Worth noting though, most places don't take card and a lot is closed Sat from 1pm till Tuesday morning. There are ATMs in the town though, and it is worth finding the little carpark near the Santander bank which saves a lot of hassle trying to park on the street. We loved our first visit to Portugal, the villa owners were very good at communication, and helpful. Do ask their advice about hire cars as you will need one. We booked through the airline which was our only mistake. We look forward to coming back in the near future. "
