"The location is beautiful and the property in itself is nice especially the rooms area. For a 4 star property it lacked basics. As seen in brochure and all photos of the property they give prominence to the pool, but visiting the place in the last week of June and they tell you the pool is not in use, does not look nice at all. "Classic room was reasonable size and bed comfortable. Had to change from first room due to treatment odour that was extremely strong. Bathrooms are very good but you will likely spend most time by the pool, which is the best feature of the site. Staff are friendly and breakfast good, with nice setting. Stayed one night and spent most of the time outdoors."

The local bakeshop, where we had coffee every morning - Shardana - was also excellent. The owners were very hands-on and invited me to dinner to meet some of their friends. You don't get this in large hotels."

"We stayed in ground floor accomodation. Problem with lounge area. Not private. Sofa bed for sleeping 3rd person had no privacy. Lounge and kitchen open to all those occupying floors above ours as they entered building from street level front door. No wall or door to give privacy which was rather disconcerting. Also no security for personal property. Although we had private bedroom for two and private bathroom the description of the property was not as advertised. "
