A true log cabin experience! Southern Comfort Cabin is your peaceful, quiet retreat from life's everyday stresses. The cabin is accessible to everything East TN has to offer - Dollywood, Gatlinburg, great hiking trails, rafting, waterfalls, ziplining, shopping, dining, llama treks and more! We are located on one level acre with a small creek behind the cabin. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is just down the road so come make mountain memories in Southern Comfort!

Rocky Ridge is a small neighborhood with year round and other vacation rentals. You'll see squirrels, birds and other small wildlife.

After a busy day of sightseeing or whitewater rafting, return to your quiet cabin and build a fire in the fire pit, make some s'mores, or just hang out under the stars. How about a friendly game of corn hole?

On cold fall or winter nights, turn on the fireplace (Nov 15 to March 15) and cuddle up with your sweetheart or soak your cares away in the hot tub on the covered deck.

Cook up some burgers or a steak on the grill and enjoy them at the picnic table.

Kids of all ages will enjoy the creek and the large 1 acre yard to play in!

You can also get fresh veggies, jams and jellies at Carver's Produce just down the road.

Walmart is a 15 min drive in Newport.

Perfect getaway

We needed a quick getaway to recharge and this cabin was exactly what we were hoping for. Everything was clean and comfortable-very well equipped kitchen. Hot tub was great, rooms/beds were comfortable. Location was great if you’re looking for something remote and away from the craziness of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge but close enough to easily get there.

We love this adorable cabin! It’s tidy and well appointed, and we love the huge grassy area and creek for the kids to play in. We stay every summer for a family reunion. The location is near some really pretty hiking trails.

Peaceful and Perfect

My family and I stayed at Southern Comfort and enjoyed every minute. The cabin was very peaceful and clean. Check in was so easy and Christine was easy to get in touch with. Cute and cozy cabin. Was stocked well with everything you need to grill, sit by the fire and the hot tub was great too. A short drive to Pigeon Forge. Located in a quiet area close enough to everything but far enough away to be feel like you're in private setting. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Great Place to Stay in Cosby

My brother and I recently traveled to the area for business and personal reasons and this cabin was perfect for our trip. It was more than spacious for the two of us and could have easily accommodated 2 couples with children. The cabin was super clean and was situated on a nice piece of property. What I loved most was how quiet and peaceful the cabin was. It gave us the much needed serenity to recharge after our busy days. The added amenities like the TV, WiFi, fire pit, BBQ and hot tub provides much to do for anyone who decides to spend more time at the cabin than we were able to. The communication between the owners and I was excellent and Christine was genuinely interested in making sure we had a good stay. I would love to stay here again and I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in Eastern TN and the Smoky Mountains area.

Absolutely loved this cabin. Perfect amount of room for us all and was in the hot tub every night. Was worried at first with others so close but never even knew there was anyone around. So peaceful. At breakfast on the deck every morning listening to the creek. We will definitely be back.

Cozy cabin!!

This was our first time saying in a cabin, so we didn’t know what to expect. This cabin didn’t disappoint!! It was cute, comfy, and just right for our family! The road to the cabin is a little dicey being one lane but it worked for us. We would definitely return again!

Perfect for the weekend

Perfect accommodations for a quick weekend away. Reservation process and communication with the host was smooth and informative. The VRBO description was 100% accurate. It was obvious the owners take great pride in maintaining this location. The cabin and hot tub were VERY clean! Kitchen was well stocked for cooking - exception of not having a full size coffee pot, just a Keurig. No complaints - mentioning only for awareness. Plenty of blankets and towels readily available. The cabin was very spacious for its size. The neighbors are close in proximity so not as private. The area was quiet and peaceful. Since our stay was brief, we did not get to take advantage of all the amenities. Will definitely consider staying here again for future trips to the area.

Comfortable cabin

Southern Comfort cabin was perfect for our girls only getaway! It was close to everything we wanted to see and do in Cosby, yet settled away from the main traffic, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The whole cabin was pristinely clean, not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere, and was decorated with charming bird and bear decor. We had plenty of room for evening crafting and watching tv, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and a well-equipped kitchen. In the bathrooms our host even thought of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, which many hosts don’t bother with. The towels were plentiful too! We were very pleased with our home-away-from-home for this week!
