#TroverDetour It was serendipitous that I get to watch a Fashion show that was set up on the same moment I was visiting The Navigli District of Milan. What’s interesting about this is that ,the catwalk where the model was walking is floating entirely on the river that divides the two promenade walkways. As shown on the photo, you can see the hordes of onlookers trying to get a peek of the fashion show, like me trying to get a snapshot.

Very convenient for travelling into Milan by tram, although we walked everywhere (it doesn’t take long to reach the Duomo). A few good cafes nearby and a safe area. Friendly hosts too. "I was surprised to see that it was a shared kitchen with one other guest. The bed wasn't comfortable, old mattresses. The place was clean, not quiet due to children playing all day outside. The owner also texted me that I had to check in by 19:30 which made it very difficult, but he eventually agreed to meet me at 20:00. Also, the owner insisted on taking a picture of my passport. This I found to be odd and suspect. Be careful."

"Beautiful boutique hotel, loved the careful attention to detail and overall comfort. Excellent airconditioning (difficult to find in Europe), amenities, and lovely staff. Please note the small size of the hotel (7 rooms only) and the fact that it is not staffed at night - I would recommend this hotel for the experienced and leisurely traveler who does not need constant service."
