Savvy Pelican is located at beautiful Beachside. A family-friendly four-bedroom townhome conveniently located on 11th Street. Savvy Pelican sits near the saltwater pool, which is heated during the winter months and is beautifully decorated with beach-inspired décor. If you are looking for a great location central to all that Port Aransas has to offer, look no further. Park your car in your dedicated parking space or in the provided garage and leave it for the duration of your stay. An 8-minute walk gets you to the acclaimed Gulf Coast beach, shopping, restaurants, and activities.

After sightseeing, return to your Port A townhome and relax on your outdoor patio. Outdoor chairs are there for you to enjoy. The ground floor holds 2 bedrooms that are separated by a shared walk-through bathroom. Guest bedroom 4 (BR4) offers a full-size bunk bed, a sofa sleeper, a dresser, and a big-screen TV. Guest bedroom 3 (BR3) has a queen bed, dresser, flat-screen TV, and private patio entry. Both rooms share an adjoining bathroom with a stand-up shower. The washer and dryer are tucked neatly in a hallway closet. The stairs lead up to the living and kitchen area. Inside your living room, you will find new furniture consisting of a couch, sofa sleeper,2 accent chairs, and a flat-screen HD TV, cable, and Wi-Fi. The dining room table has seating for 6 and the spacious bar seats 3. The dining area has a pass-through to the fully stocked galley kitchen. Granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances will make the family cook happy. The master bedroom (BR2) is located on the second floor. It offers a plush king-size bed, dresser flat-screen TV, and bathroom with a full-sized shower that is accessible in the hall by guests as well. The second master bedroom (BR1) features a king-sized bed, dresser, a flat-screen TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a full-size shower. Enjoy the Pool, which is heated during the winter months, with a Waterslide and Palapas throughout. Beachside is located just blocks from everything in Port A! What are you waiting for? Savvy Pelican less than great

The Savvy Pelican was in a great location and had lots of room for our group of 8 (inclding 4 children ages 9 through 13). Overall, the bathrooms, kitchen, & living areas were neat and clean (except for the mold problem). Unfortunately, there was a problem with mold in the town home: (1) mold coming out of ceiling vents in kitchen and 1 bathroom; (2) Dishwasher was broken and filled with EXTREME mold. Also, the outside picnic area had overgrown weeds covering picnic table & picnic table was splintered wood, and the grill had a rusted hole through the bottom (not usable). Also, the TV in the downstairs bedroom didn't work, possibly because there were no batteries in 1 of the remotes. While the pool area was beautiful, the pool restroom doorknob was off, the railing on 1 of the pool steps was broken off, and there was lots of mold on underneath of water slide. There were other problems, but these were the ones that made our stay less than great.

Great set up for our 2 families! You could tell that the property has been used for awhile. The pull out sofa seemed bent and hard to pull out and put back. The dishwasher was moldy. Overall, those did not affect our stay and it was an amazing property just more of an inconvenience.

The house smelled like stale cigarette smoke that could be smelled from the front porch before even opening the door. It was strong enough to attach itself to EVERYTHING we brought back home and even made my car smell bad. There was a LARGE hole in the wall in the bedroom downstairs. I let Life in Paradise know about it but never heard back from them. Just wanted them to know it was not us. There were dirty dishes in the drawers with food on them. The dishwasher was black with either mold or residue from a grill maybe? Needless to say, we did not use any dishes before washing them ourselves.

Ok stay overall, but can use improvements!

Ok stay overall, not terrible but also not great. The property could use improvements. Upon entering the condo, the front door would not open. The combination deadbolt was stuck and would not unlock. Property management answered in a timely manner, but it took about 30 minutes for maintenance to arrive. We were waiting in the hot summer sun with 2 babies. Once maintenance got the door to unlock, upon settling in, we found out the internet wasn’t working. Luckily the maintenance workers were still there so we brought this issue to their attention. They begrudgingly began to troubleshoot the internet but seemed hurried and not interested in solving the problem for us. I was very disappointed with their service. In this age of technology internet wifi is a must. We arrived on a Friday and got a call on Sunday night from maintenance that they were sending someone over but by that time, what was the use? We were checking out on Monday. Also, the property description states it’s a no smoking condo but the place and sheets smelled like there had been a previous smoker. Pretty strong smell! Now all of our clothes and belongings smell like smoke. Other than those issues it was an ok stay. The condo itself is nice and clean. Other than those issues, the place was ok. The best perk of this place was the proximity to the beach. It’s only a short walk.

Everything was good. It a suggestion would be for the King sized room off the kitchen, add some more storage as well as end tables. Those guests get shortchanged with a non connector bathroom and then barely anywhere to put clothes.

Summer Vacation

This property was great! The house itself was very clean and the decor was beautiful! It was very close to the beach and we enjoyed the community pool. The kids especially loved the water slide. We had a bathroom sliding door that fell off the track, and maintenance was very prompt in fixing the issue. Check in and out was super easy and convenient. The only thing I would recommend is a hose outside to make it easier to rinse sand off of feet and beach items and maybe some kind of towel rack out back by the grill to hang beach towels. Super minor things but great trip!!!

Everything was nice, loved the decor and the place was very comfortable.

We enjoyed it very much, the home is very comfortable and the decor was beautiful. However we would suggest a few things for future guests such as, cleaning supplies. New pots and pans. Measuring cup. More towels. Other than that it was great!

Perfect Place in Port A

We had a group of 10 stay at the townhouse and loved everything about it. From the beginning, Steve was available to answer all our questions, and everything was just as advertised. The garage access helped a lot with multiple vehicles and golf carts. The multi-level townhouse was perfect to accommodate larger group and the pool on the property was perfect after day at the beach. The Beachside is centrally located for quick ride to beach and town. We are already planning to return next year.

Great stay!

The townhome is in a great location! Lots of space for 4 adults and 4 little ones. The kids loved the pool! We will definitely be trying to stay here again next summer!

Made the best of it. . .

We submitted an on-line review (this is second request). In short- Property, pool, location/proximity to beach, and contact with Life In Paradise personnel was ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC. The 2-STAR RATING, based on some serious need to have the condo unit exterminated. Several roaches/waterbugs, we purchased RAID would find them every morning. Bottom of dishwasher literally had small ones crawling in it. We did not use the kitchen, had extremely restless nights, and stayed on basis of our son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren traveled from Colorado for this stay. BEAUTIFUL PLACE! Wish we would not have had that experience (left all our luggage in our vehicles, never used the fridge).

Great stay

Check in was easy and convenient. The entire place was very clean and well kept. We stayed here with 4 adults and 5 children, there was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. The beach is a short drive and the pool was amazing to hop in after sweating packing up at the beach. Kids loved the slide!

Great little spot

We enjoyed our stay for my sons 4th birthday. We also rented a golf cart through the company to drive to and from the beach. The home includes beach toys, there’s also corn hole and darts in the garage that we enjoyed. The only downfall is there isn’t any bathtubs. All bathrooms have showers, so we adapted. There was so much space though. Great for large groups which we are considering for next time. Upstairs has the 2 king rooms and a pull out couch, as well as the kitchen. Downstairs is the queen room and bunk room with pull out couch with a bathroom connected between them. There’s also the laundry room. From previous reviews it was recommended to bring dish soap: trash bags, laundry soap, etc. The home actually had trash bags and dish pods. We only needed laundry soap, which we brought and our own beach towels since none are provided. Overall we would stay here over and over again.

Most Excellent/Do not hesitate!

We have been going to Port A for many years now for Thanksgiving. This our 4th stay in these units. You will never be disappointed. Everything was easy; clean; stocked well, and the unit is decorated beautifully. The pool is always clean and warm as well and such a treat for the kids.

Wonderful condo and convenient location

Our family of 5 stayed here for a beach vacation. Everyone had a fantastic time. The condo was very well appointed with everything we needed! There was plenty of space for all the kids. The downstairs bunk room doubled as a play room for the littles. Each room had a smart tv which was so helpful. The condo was very spacious and had everything we needed. Our kids loved the pool, we were there every day after the beach. And we loved how close we were to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.
