    This Awesome 2nd Story House Has All You Need for a Great Vacation in Port Aransas. 2 BR. 2 BA Sleeps 8. There is plenty of parking for 4 cars or 2 cars and a boat/watercraft. The master bedroom (BR1) has a king bed with a TV, a dresser for your beach attire, and an ensuite bathroom with a stand-alone shower. The 2nd bedroom (BR2) has 2 queen beds TV, and storage for clothing. There is a bathroom across the hallway that has a shower/tub combination unit. The full kitchen is equipped with all appliances, cookware, and counter space to meet your cooking needs. The breakfast table has seating for 2 and the bar has 4 stools. Extra-large living area for entertaining with a couch, sofa sleeper, TV with Wi-Fi. The shared washer & dryer room is located downstairs, it is shared with a separate guest house. No matter what's your pleasure you will find it here. Take a nice swim in the Private pool. The Beautiful yard and mature palms surround this property.

    This property can be booked with the adjoining property that sleeps 8. Parking in the driveway ONLY

    Things to Know:
    Minimum age to book with life in paradise is 25, valid ID required.
    Pet friendly, with $95 fee per dog, fee requires will be sent separately after booking.
    Pools are serviced weekly, upwards of twice per week during the summertime. Services may be performed while occupied.
    Beach gear available (with a 2-night minimum stay, details will come via email from Vayk Gear).
    Property comes with a starter pack of toiletries, any supplies beyond this are up to the guest to replenish.
    Laundry detergent not provided.
    Beach Towels not provided.
    Please bring coffee and filters

What a great property

We had so much fun staying on this property. It was central to Port Aransas and the beach. With the entire family loved is we also had a pool and a hot tub on the property which made it a complete water weekend.

Second Stay

My family just completed their second annual stay at this property. Place is fully furnished, has a private pool, and is very close to the beach. We love it and we’re looking forward to going back next year.

Nice space

This is a nice space to stay for a few days. Close to ferry access and restaurants. Instructions weren't clear that we would have to share the driveway with the downstairs tenant causing confusion. View overlooks adjacent RV park.

The pool was the best part of this house. The sleeper sofas need to be replaced. It could have been cleaner, The kitchen was not well equipped for cooking.

Great house

We had a wonderful time. Having the jacuzzi was great since the pool was a little cold (in April), not that the kids minded. The A/C unit is extremely loud, which I was able to sleep through but my mom who slept in the room with the 2 Queens woke up every time it kicked on. No glass allowed at the pool, so bring some plastic cups and/or refillable tumblers. There were several remotes for the tv, which was a little confusing but we managed. The elevator was handy for the heavy stuff to get up the stairs. All in all it’s a great property, just wanted to fill the next guests in on the things that would help / were good to know.

Sunsets on the deck.

Really enjoyed our stay. Our first vacation w/out kids. We spent every morning and evening on the front deck. Great place for enjoying the sunsets. The only thing that has make me hold back from reccomending it to my friend was...it needs a good spring cleaning..blinds, vents, things like that.

Good!

Location is great for shopping, eating out & even getting to the beach. Having the pool & hot tub were an awesome addition. As well as all the outdoor lounging areas! Our only issue was a few things in the house not staying in place, the shower head fell off onto someone’s head, you had to be careful on the queen beds, seemed they may not be screwed in properly, and just the amount of cockroaches we saw throughout the house. The house itself is awesome with great amenities, was even able to meet the owner who was extremely nice, if just those small issues were resolved and he’d have us again we would definitely be back!

Perfect for families

Our second time renting this property and its perfect for our family. Love the location and private pool its goes up to 4 feet which is perfect for children. Accommodations are clean and maintained.

The fridge wasn’t getting cold, the guest hallway restroom did not want to flush and there was big and small roaches threwout the kitchen!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. What did we pay for?

Everybody rinsed outside on first day so nobody used the second bathroom. Following day someone showered, shower head doesn’t even work, faucet can be pulled out, tub leaked all of the bath water onto bathroom floor instead of down the drain. The entire bathroom floor was covered of water and it leaked into the hallway. We did our best to dry it up, but it seemed like the floor would remain wet after. You could walk on it nd socks would absorb the water. It was so inconvenient to only have one indoor working shower. Kitchen sink isn’t draining properly instead of draining it’s leaking water into the cabinets underneath. Pool was dirty and had sand inside. Floors weren’t cleaned prior to our arrival. White socks turned black but was charged a cleaning fee for after our stay. Why charge a cleaning fee if its evident no one mopped. Also didn't realize we would be sharing our washer and dryer w the neighbors. Hot tub was either hot or cold buttons didn't work other than jets. Not enough lighting around pool area it was way to dark. Definitely to expensive for what you get. Will not be staying ever again

I thgt the house and location were great! It was clean and the property management was excellent and easy to get ahold of. The only issue i had was other ppl using the private pool. It would have been better if it was marked a little better or had a lock that only the ppl renting had

Port A house

The furniture is dated. Skimpy on the cooking utensils. The grand father clock needs to be fixed so it doesn’t ring every time you walk by it. There is a roach issue inside the house. We killed a few while we were there. The pool wasn’t cleaned out and had sand in it. The hot tub was not full when we got there and never got hot.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very good trip. We were sad when beaches closed but we understood. We were so glad that we had rented the house as it had a private pool and hot tub.

Misleading description online

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The stay here was very disappointing due to the fact that there always seemed to be downstairs when we were there. The property description gave the impression this was a private house and pool and it was anything but that. Apparently the owners live downstairs and they were often downstairs using that area with their family/friends. It was very awkward when you were expecting a private rental with your family. In addition apparently there was miscommunication with the booking agency and the owners though we were coming a day later. We only knew this because when we arrived that afternoon and drove by the pool, it was filled with people. The owner talked with us about it and said normally we would never know they were there. Understandable except later that day we wen to the beach and when we got back that evening they were in the pool again. There were several other better places places with shared pools/areas we would have booked first had we known this would be the case. It definitely did not end up being the private location we though it would be.

Peaceful location

It was a quiet and peaceful location with all amenities needed. The office was very prompt with replying to any questions we had.

It was nice but...

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently stayed at Twice as Nice for a week stay in June. I am going to keep this review short as others have already done a good job describing the property. In summary, this is a nice house located in a good location in Old Town close to everything (groceries, restaurants, beaches, etc). We liked: -Location -Private pool and hot tub -Washer & dryer -Being able to rent our golf cart right on location (delivery and pick up at our house) We didn't like: -Owner (and rental agency) neglect. For instance, we paid full price on the advertised house and features but: -> The dishwasher had been broken for a while, with dirty, rotten backed up water, nobody noticed this before letting us check in? We reported this to the office but nothing was done and we all did dishes for the whole week. -> The dishwasher and other kitchen appliances are OLD and in dire need of upgrading. They look as if they were 30 years old. Not all of the ranges of the stove where in working condition -> Cleanliness: the house was pretty dirty. We spent at least 2 hours cleaning doritos from under the bed and furniture, at least 2 dead roaches, a filthy shower (we took pictures of the grime, etc). Not blaming the agency 100% as these are signs of owner neglect. -> The BBQ grill was dirty and full of ashes I had to clean myself so I could use it. I was also overdue for a replacement (full of rust) -> Having a private pool is nice but as you can see from the pictures, you are swimming next to a corner where there's little privacy. A plant or two would spruce up the experience. Would we stay here again in the future? Not in the current conditions. We would only stay if I can see evidence of better upkeep and appliances upgrades.
