You can be assured of a delightful getaway at Palmilla Sunset -- a 3BR townhome spanning 2,300 square feet of living space. This refined rental is located in the prestigious Palmilla Beach Resort, with access to lavish amenities including a gorgeous pool, boardwalk to the beach, on-site dining, and beach gear/rentals. It’s just across the street from the resort-style Seaside Swim Center with concierge guest services. The heart of Port Aransas is a short drive away, offering shopping and dining options.

ABOUT THE TOWNHOUSE

Colorful coastal furniture in the living room provides plenty of seating around a 65” TV. The sectional opens to reveal a queen sleeper. A top-floor bonus living area doubles as a sleeping space with a sleeper sofa, four reading nooks with electrical outlets, a 50” TV, and game table.

This luxuriously-equipped kitchen features quartz counters and stainless steel appliances. It’s fully stocked with every type of cookware needed for all occasions -- including a crab/shrimp boil. Dine around the eight-seat table, or take a seat at the four-seat kitchen bar.

Out on the covered balcony, enjoy views of the resort grounds and gentle Gulf breezes.

Sweet dreams await on a king bed in the master suite, complete with a 43” TV, private balcony, and spa-like en-suite with a double vanity and walk-in shower.

The second bedroom has a king bed, 43” TV, and en-suite with tub/shower.

The top-floor third bedroom, you’ll find two XL twin beds with twin trundle beds underneath, as well as a sleeper sofa. A guest bath has a double vanity and tub/shower.

EXTRA AMENITIES & DETAILS

A washer/dryer, complimentary Wi-Fi, an additional freezer in the garage, as well as parking for up to four cars (two in the garage, and two in the driveway) are provided.

Enjoy access to incredible amenities, including two elegant resort-style pools that are heated during our winter season. A designated area at the beach with food services and air-conditioned bathrooms. During the summer, poolside cabanas, golf carts, beach chairs, and umbrellas are available to rent via Guest Services.

For on-site dining, you’ll find the exquisite Black Marlin Seaside Grill, REDS Patio Bar, and the Agave Poolside Cantina.

The newly redesigned 9-hole course incorporates the best of true links-style play and winds its way throughout the Palmilla Beach Resort Community. Palmilla Beach challenges golfers of any skill level with ocean breezes, lush fairways lined with native grasses and challenging greens. With a variety of tee boxes, the course will fit any player's current game.

THINGS TO KNOW
There is currently major construction occurring on new homes in the area. No current homes or amenities will be affected, though construction equipment may be visible and views may be obstructed in some areas. Construction has been scheduled during certain times of the day to minimize noise and potential disturbances to guests. The work is scheduled to conclude in the next year.

Great Beach Spot

Great spot and overall experience. The WiFi and cable left a lot to be desired. Made it very hard to work but of course not a problem if you’re always on the beach. Would still recommend as long as you don’t require internet

Great place, no garage access

Place was great, pictures are accurate. The only access to the home is thru the front door. Which is somewhat of a bummer to have to walk a round the property to the drive/garage to use gift cart and vehicle. Would have been nice to know that ahead of time. With kids that’s a big deal. Otherwise home was wonderful and as advertised.

Beautiful home, great location

We had a wonderful vacation in your home. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of comfortable seating in the dining & living spaces. Our daughters loved the space on the third floor with the extra couch and tv area. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of plates, glasses and cookware. There could have been more towels in the master bathroom. The cleaning crew had not cleaned the patio spaces-chairs out of place and several cans/trash left on the patio. The ping pong table in the garage would have been a lot of fun, but it was covered in sand and there were no ping pong balls. The rest of the home was cleaned very well- just those two spaces hadn’t had any attention paid to them. We appreciated the boogie boards and sand toys that were in the home for guests to use. The location of the home is nice being right by the pool. We would stay in your home again!

Time flies when you're having fun!

The property has an excellent layout with bedrooms on the first two levels and a huge rec room / family room on the third floor - each with their own full bathrooms. For a mix of family & friends, this was the perfect solution. Everyone had their best sleep in months and relaxed to the max. The pool location directly across the street made it overly accessible - we seemed to spend most of our time there instead of the beach and up until closing time. The kids would not have had it any other way! The single chairs in the LVRM and 3rd floor are gliders ... added bonus! Only potential areas to interrupt your full relaxation - streaming while watching videos was a bit slow (but that seemed to be the service provider not the house) and there is a little 1" lip or step up coming from the laundry room into the house. We knew it was there but continually tripped on it. A rolled up towel against the lip would be a visual reminder to step up each time. We have been back to Pamilla Beach twice in three months and plan to come back soon again.

Mold and Cigarette Smell!

We had an unbearable mold/cigarette smell for our entire trip. We had to buy air fresheners just to sleep. The master bath down to the garage has an active leak with mold on the ceiling. All our stuff now stinks. We called twice and was told someone would come out to inspect... never showed up. Other than that, the location and property was very nice for 2 families. It was right next to the community pool and a 10 minute walk to the beach. The upstairs had 4 twin beds, but was practically a loft, so you cant make any noise on the main level when kids are sleeping. There were NO nice arrival things, like snacks/coffee/paper towels/waters/bath mats... just got some dinky shampoo and 2 rolls of tp for each bath. Definitely don't stay here until the smell issue is gone!

LaPamilla vacay

Great everything- comfortably sleeps 4 adults and 2 kids. The third floor needs another full or queen sized bed- probably should have rated a 3 only for that reason. Sofa beds did not work out very uncomfortable. The single beds on 3rd floor not made for adults.

Amazing stay!

Absolutely beautiful home. Decorated beautifully - felt like I was in my own home. Great accessories in the kitchen and through out the home - everything you need in every aspect from kitchen tools, extra blankets- pillows and towels and nice quality items as well which is very appreciative. Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time staying at Palmilla and a Turnkey managed property primarily due to the fact that we weren't tied to a full week rental. Considering how much we paid (almost $1K per night after fees and taxes) I would have expected the house to be cleaner. The foyer was very sandy and basic toiletries had not been replaced (empty tissue boxes and soap dispensers). Considering we're in the middle of a global pandemic, I'm surprised hand soap was missing. Bath mats were used and never washed and when I went to retrieve another one from the linen cabinet, that one was also dirty. I spent more time doing laundry than I should have when I first arrived. Kitchen appliances (coffee makers) on the counter had a layer of dust on them and some of the cooking utensils still had old food stuck to them. Also, the housekeeper never replenished the kitchen towels/dishrags and I spent half an hour looking for them when I arrived so I could have something to wipe things down with. Considering Turnkey sent me numerous auto-emails priding itself on its "GuestWorks" cleaning system and technology, frankly I wasn't impressed. Also Turnkey, why offer automatic early check-in and late check-out if the property doesn't allow it in the first place? Next time our family books a Port A trip, we'll stick to Cinnamon Shores.

Beach Vacation

Overall, the resort was great, especially the location, pool and beach. Very easy to check in with door code. I wish I could give this rental a higher rating but we had issues which impacted our stay. The passwords and log in instructions for WiFi did not work so no TVs or internet for any of our devices for 24 hours. With small children to entertain and need for them to wind down after beach and pool, this was an issue. When we called to report, they initially told us someone would come to fix before noon the next day. My daughter who is an IT expert tried to resolve the issue. Finally, the afternoon after our arrival Management Company called to let us know the Owner had changed the log in without notifying them. Also, the bed linens on all the beds on third floor were dirty - Cheeto smears, crumbs, stains, etc. This wasn’t discovered until bedtime at around 11:30 pm. My daughter washed the sheets the next day and I reported the issue to Management Company along with photos. There was also dirt and hair in flooring. After numerous texts and requesting to speak to a Manager, the Management Company did reimburse me $65 for internet issue and $40 for the unit not being clean. When you pay over $2600 for a three day stay your expectation is for unit to be exceptional. The resort itself is great.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The townhouse we rented was in a great location and the house was nice and had plenty of room. However, when we arrived we noticed the master bath was dirty, there was a layer of dust on everything, stain on one of the comforters, and overall the unit was not properly cleaned. We pulled out one of the trundle beds on the 3rd floor for our kids to sleep on and the sheets were dirty and there was a pair of dirty kids underwear in the bed! Turnkey did respond to the issue and came to change the sheets. Needless to say we were pretty grossed out after that. The pool was nice and right next to the townhouse. There was a lot of construction going on during our visit but it didn't bother us. Overall not worth the money due to the cleanliness of the property.
