  • Located on the 5th row at Whalehead Beach, Robyn’s Nest has everything needed for a relaxing family vacation at the Outer Banks. 5 bedrooms and 3 baths plus a private pool and hot tub. Enjoy ocean views from the crow’s nest. Spacious decks on top and 2nd levels for sunning or relaxing in the shade. Enjoy the screened-in porch for outdoor dining or reading a book. House is located on the 2nd lot from the corner making it a short walk to the beach.

    Linens provided and beds made. All bath towels, wash cloths, bath mats, kitchen towels and bed linens are provided. The only thing you need to bring are beach towels.

    Minutes to area shopping, restaurants, attractions and Food Lion or Harris Teeter grocery store. For those that like to drive their vehicles on the beach (4WD required), there is a vehicle beach access point located approximately 3 miles north. You can drive all the way to the Virginia border and see the wild horses along the way.

    Level 1 – Access to gated pool and hot tub/basketball/outside shower/outside grille/5 beach chairs provided.

    Level 2– Master bedroom (King) with TV and deck access; Bedroom (King) with TV and deck access; Bedroom (King) with TV and deck access; Bedroom (2 bunk sets) with TV/VCR and deck access; Laundry washer/dryer.

    Level 3 – Master bedroom (King) with TV/DVD; Family Living area with TV/DVD/Stereo; Kitchen; Dining area; Small reading/working area; Screened Porch with picnic table
    5 bedrooms – Sleeps 12, Beds for 12 3 Full bathrooms.
    Dining table seats 8 plus 4 at the kitchen bar

We really enjoyed our time there and would love to stay there again. The games and puzzles were a hit with our youngest. We loved the pool, and the house was clean, spacious, and just a short walk to the beach, making it easy for us to go there every day.

House was great and comfortable. Loved the king sized beds! Having a pool was great. Walk to the beach was up one house and over 2 streets. Host was very responsive. All good!

This place is great. It really has pretty much everything you need all you gotta bring is clothes and beach towels. The owner is extremely responsive if needed and very welcoming. My family had a blast in the pool, running around all the decks, sitting in the hammocks and playing in the "hot pool" as the kids called the hot tub. Great place, good location, good stuff. If anything, the pics don't do it justice.

My family had an amazing vacation, the description of the home was perfect and the kitchen was so stocked with all the necessities for cooking at home for 12. Thank you Kevin We look forward to returning to you home.

Great location - very clean

Just what we needed for 2 families!! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. About 1.5 blocks from the beach. Nice quiet area away from the hustle and bustle but everything we needed was within a 2 mile radius. Would definitely stay here again!

Kevin was great. When we arrived, the upstairs ac initially was working but by the evening it had stopped. The next morning I contacted Kevin and he had someone out to fix it within a few hours. The house was great for the location and our needs. Kevin was very kind and allowed us to check in early while we were in between houses for our work. I will keep him and his properties in mind for future stays.

Smith clan

We enjoyed staying at Robyn’s nest. The house was very clean and we loved being close to the access for the beach. The weather was terrible, but that couldn’t be helped.

Great time in Corolla

Great location only a few houses down from the beach access path and a short walk to the beach. The house was clean, organized and had everything we needed. Loved to pool, hot tub and plenty of outdoor deck space. Couldn't have asked for a better stay in Corolla!

First Family Vacation in Years

We had a wonderful experience at the property. The neighborhood is quiet and family oriented. Just a short walk to the beach on a very nice public walkway. The beach offered lots of shells to find and was clean. We had unseasonably cool weather but that’s the luck of the draw. Our entire family had a wonderful stay!

Relaxing Getaway

We had the most incredible time at Robyn’s Nest. Two weeks of relaxation and unplugged family time. First week was really beach friendly with calm water and hot weather. Second week was cool weather and perfect for hot tubbing and reading. The house was great for 6 young adults and two tired parents who needed a break. Kevin was accommodating and responsive and a fantastic host. Highly recommend for a family getaway.

Clean, comfortable & fresh beach house w

We had a fantastic time at this clean, well-maintained & comfortable beach house just a short walk from life-guarded beach. The layout and amenities were perfect for us- a family group of 12 people ages 12-65. The owner was very responsive and helpful during booking, a thoroughly and quickly answering several pre-trip questions I had. The vacation exceeded our expectations and we hope to stay here again in the future. some

Our stay

We had a wonderful time. The house was extremely well stocked with anything we needed especially the kitchen. Although the coffee maker took over 45 minutes to make we started to use anorher one. We are older and were use to shower handles it would benefit ones for future renters. We especially loved the extra roomy living area. We are very pleased with our stay and want to thank you for an overall stay.

June 2023

The house was cleaned to perfection and smelled great when we got there. The house was perfect for 10 adults and 2 infants.The walk to the beach was a quick 4-5 minutes and all shopping/food stores are within a 10 minute drive. The only thing I would suggest may be some lighting for the hot tub at night/the back steps. Kevin was extremely helpful with any questions we had and always answered quickly. We loved our stay and can’t wait to book with Kevin again!

Home away from home

Rooms and layout were perfect for our 2 families (10 people total)! Family room was perfect for video game challenges, board and card games. Open concept was just what we needed to keep everyone together. Screened in outdoor area was perfect for kids. Outdoor shower and fish cleaning station were highly appreciated after a short walk to and from the beach. Pool and spa were lifesavers when ocean temp or tides werent allowing a beach day. Owner was super responsive to questions. Highly recommended!

Great Stay!

Great house, great amenities, great location! Pool was wonderful and clean with lots of chairs in the shade. Beach was a convenient walk away. Rooms were comfortable. The house came with so many extra little things that helped our stay; like a pack and play crib, tons of blankets, crayons, pool/beach toys, and a bunch of beach chairs. Even the pool guys that came halfway through the week to clean were quick, efficient, and friendly. Only issue is the walls are thin, we could hear people in the kitchen from the bedrooms downstairs.

Family Vacation 2023

The location of the property is great. Sturgeon Beach Access is 1 house away. A short walk and you are on the beach. Nice neighborhood, pleasantly quiet. You are close to just about everything. Our family of 11 aging from 63 to 3, 6 adults and 5 children ages 15 to 3 , were very comfortable during our stay. Roomy enough to be together, yet everyone had their own quiet place on the property. The property is well taken care of with plenty of dishes, games, books, and puzzles for all ages. We honestly were quite content to spend our week at the house and the beach. We had a very nice stay at Robyns Nest.

We just had the most amazing vacation at Robyn’s Nest — it truly felt like a home away from home. Kevin was such a thoughtful and welcoming host, and the house had absolutely everything we could have needed and more. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials — pots, pans, utensils, Tupperware, and even small appliances — making it easy to enjoy meals together as a family.The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable for all 9 of us. After long days at the beach, the pool and hot tub were the perfect way to relax and unwind. And speaking of the beach — the access was just one house away, and the short walk made it effortless to enjoy the sand and surf whenever we wanted.We truly loved every moment of our stay and are already dreaming of coming back. Great house in a great location!

We had a great 2-week stay at Robyn’s Nest. There was a total of 9 of us - 4 kids ranging from 3 to 11 and 5 adults ranging from late-30s to early-70s. The house was clean and the kitchen had great amenities as well as plenty of countertop for meal prep. We appreciated little details like nightlights in the hallways and plenty of towel hooks in the rooms and bathrooms for all our towels. Also loved the pool and the canopy to provide shade! The location was also awesome because it’s a relatively short walk to the beach. We rented bikes for one of the weeks and we were 9/10th of a mile from the park and Currituck Lighthouse and Corolla Light shopping. We biked for pastries and ice cream and to the sound for sunsets and fishing/crabbing. We loved that we were close enough to make short bike trips! When our family returns in a few years - Robyn’s Nest will be our first choice!

Family Vacay Corolla 2023

This house was perfect for our family vacation. It was my husband and I, our two young girls (4 and 2), two sets of grandparents, and two friends. The house had everything we needed and super clean. The location couldn’t be better, short walk to beach, short distance to grocery store, restaurants and shopping. Kevin was easy to contact and always replied back in a timely manner. We would definitely vacation here again.
