Albany House
3.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (995)
"Our stay at Albany House was great. We love being able to support a local/family owned hotel and this one was lovely. Situated on a quiet street in a Georgian house, we were only a few steps away from sites, restaurants, pubs, and public transportation. The room was small but well equipped with a kettle, tea, coffee. The bed was comfortable and we slept great, without noise issues. The shower leaked a bit on the floor due to the half door, but most European showers do. Would stay here again next...

"Beautiful, cozy old Georgian property just outside Dublin central. Advertised breakfast was continental self-serve only in a small cubby down the hall, had not served full since covid. Advert needs changing. Not fancy, not modern but homey, warm and welcoming. Our room was small and crowded with the bed for 2 and the single for our third person. Beds were comfortable and shower good. Not good for anyone not able to climb stairs or using a wheelchair. Loved the lounge and all the books...

"I was looking for an area near the airport- but with walkable areas to spend the afternoon. Man- did I hit the jackpot on this place!! It was in a great area, near the Castle grounds for walking and walked into town for dinner. What a great town it is! And the castle grounds are gorgeous for spending time outside. The B and B itself was great. En-suite bathrooms, and the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in in awhile. Jim, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful in planning my afternoon. I...

"What a charming bed and breakfast! First the friendly staff makes you feel very welcomed to start. Then the clean comfortable spacious room and the lovely bed makes you feel home. And they immediately refresh you with some tea and cake soon after your arrival. The breakfast was lovely, and the swing on the front, the trail behind the house... All wonderful! I also ordered the picnic for the hike, and it had enough to feed four for just the two of us. I would definitely recommend."
