Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und grosszügig, aber es gab keine Einweisung bei Ankunft. Pool toll und sauber. Lage super, fantastischer Blick, Strand mit Restaurants fussläufig (10 min.), aber Fahrten zur Mitte und Norden Korfus brauchen viel Zeit (Strassen erlauben meist nur Schnitt von 30 km/h). Ausstattung und WLAN gut (allerdings kein Mobilempfang), aber einige Beleuchtungen und Fernseher funktionierten nicht.

This villa has an amazing location with views over the sea to the west, with gorgeous sunsets. The pool is large and very well maintained and all bedrooms inside the house are a good size with air conditioning. It's a great location for visiting central and southern Corfu but you need a car. The final access road is steep, but short. The owner was responsive and charming and we had a marvellous holiday. We'd agree with other reviews that say that the property needs some investment to upgrade the bathrooms. There were only 3 outside loungers that could be used and the umbrellas need replacing.

Villa was spotless on arrival and was cleaned twice during our two week stay.This villa had the best pool we have ever had- it was well looked after, plenty deep enough for our two children (12 and 14) and long enough to proper lengths which was lovely. The view from the villa was amazing. We saw swallows each day that flew down and drank from the pool and bars in the evening. WiFi worked no problem and it was fantastic on arrival to have a few things after our journey like water, bread, cheese, tea etc. We were kindly offered to go to the Olive Mill and do the tasting tour which was really interesting. The only thing to improve would be the umbrellas and sun loungers around the pool. Many of the loungers were broken and there needed to more umbrellas.Overall a great trip!

Beautiful property BUT neglected.

Lovely Villa, Great views, Great Swimming pool, Beautiful location and very peaceful. However, the property needs attention. The bathrooms are terrible the shower head in the main on suite is worst than a 2 star hotel, the shower head holder is broken you could only hold the shower head whilst you washed. It is a shower within a bath and the water from the shower collected around your feet as the bath drain is blocked also the bath plug was missing and black mould had accumulated around the back of the bath. You could not use the wash basin as the basin plug would not release so you had to keep the tap running. The other 2 showers within the property are so small you could hardly turn around, you certainly could not wash you hair as you elbows were banging against the shower doors and wall. There is NO Wi-FI. as the router was not responding. The 2 safes one was locked and the other would only work without the overide key, which is easy to duplicate. Unable to contact Spyros, the owner, despite sending many messages. When you pay over 4,000 Euros for a two week stay, you do not expect to put up with all the above. Far worst than a 2 star hotel. top location, but....

The Villa has a top location with a beautiful view and the swimming pool ist very well maintained. But the internet works very unreliable und there is no Telephone network for using mobile data. From the third day we had no more hot water. Despite multiple messages to the owner no reaction. That was a shame.

Fabulous villa

What a fabulous villa! The listing photo’s tell you how gorgeous the view from all the balconies is. The location was perfect: privacy without being remote. The stroll down to the beach was very easy, and we enjoyed drinks at Sunset Restaurant before a sunset swim one evening, and a meal there on another. At the villa, the sound of the cicadas is atmospheric. Spyros greeted us and was very friendly and helpful with our requests. The layout of the villa suited the 7 of us perfectly. The bedrooms were airy and spacious. We spent most of our time on the main balcony or down by the pool; being open-plan we could always see the sea, even while preparing food in the kitchen. Sunset was magnificent to watch and the full moon’s reflection on the sea magical. The pool was excellent - just a few steps from the villa, well maintained, very big, and very warm - my husband normally has to be bullied into a pool but he found the temperature of this one irresistible. We got groceries at Ag. Mattheos, a short drive away, and drove to Corfu Town on the opposite coast - narrow windy roads, so you definitely want a small car. What a magical stay we had at this villa - I’d definitely recommend it if what you’re looking for is: spacious, comfortable accommodation, with a fantastic pool and a glorious view and location. Tolles Geriehaus, wunderbare Lage etwas Investitionsbedarf

It was very nice there! If the toilets flushed properly and there were enough intact sunbeds and umbrellas available, it would have been perfect Es war dort sehr schön! Wenn die Toilettenspülung richtig fuktionieren würde und ausreichend intakte Sonnenliegen und Sonnenschirme verfügbar wären, dann wäre es perfekt gewesen.

First Holiday in Corfu

We had an amazing stay. Spyros and his family were friendly and very generous. We felt spoiled and looked after. The villa met our needs perfectly - although bear in mind there are stairs or steep slope to the pool. The pool was amazing. The surroundings idyllic and beach taverna's are in walking distance. We hired a car to explore the island but had plenty of rest and relaxation. If you enjoy relaxing away from the throng of crowds, enjoy wildlife and an immersive local experience book now. We are missing Corfu already.

A bit outnof shape with stunning view

First of all we had a very nice stay. The view from the several balconies and terraces and pool is stunning - enjoy a cold drink and look atnthe sunset over yhe ionic sea. The pool is cleaned regularly. The house itself is a bit out of shape - broken umbrellas, sofas covered by blankets (not visible in the announced photos). Kitchen well equipped but broken covers here and there, light bulbs defective. In the lower garden broken furniture, abandoned construction material is just left visible to the guests. Nothing severe and the location is compensation - but worth to mention that the pictures in the announcements are several years old, so do not expect a perfect condition. Communication with the host is improvable - message by FeWo app was not answered, only after contacting via WhatsApp or not at all. Still I recommend to book this place if you want to enjoy the quiet area with a nice pool and an awsome view.

Super schöner Urlaub

Wir wurden sehr freundlich in dieser Villa begrüßt, die Aussicht und der Pool liessen unsere Herzen höher schlagen. Alles war sehr schön, der Pool wurde ebenso super gepflegt wie regelmässig das Haus gereinigt. Ruhige Lage und alles für die totale Entspannung da. Wer im Ort essen gehen möchte kann dies zu Fuß unternehmen. Während des Aufenthaltes gab es als Wollkommensgeschenk eine Grundausstattung an Lebensmittel, einige Tage später eine Moussaka, einfach so spontan vorbei gebracht, dafü vielen Dank! Wir würden wieder kommen!

Fabulous views!

The property is located on a hill 10 mins walk from Paramonas beach. The view from the property is the main selling point and is absolutely stunning. The pool is large and maintained daily. The property itself is spacious with 2 balconies and a large terrace. All rooms have working aircon, which was needed! The cleaner came about 4 times during our fortnight. The property could do with some TLC to turn it into a true luxury villa. There were 5 of us and we struggled with the lack of crockery and glassware. Also there were only 4 sunbeds. Unfortunately the covered patio by the pool is used for storage and we felt this was a great waste as it could be a lovely dining area. Spyros was extremely friendly and came to greet us with local delicacies on day 2. The family also brought us a delicious moussaka in week 2. The best we’ve had! Communication with Spyros varied. Sometimes we’d get a response (by iMessage as we had no mobile signal at the property) and sometimes we wouldn’t. There are 3 tavernas within walking distance. Skala has a nice garden and the food is pretty good. The staff are very friendly. Sunset is a modern beachfront hotel restaurant. Food here wasn’t up to much but the setting was nice. At Plori the food was good but we had various issues with service on our first visit which unfortunately meant we didn’t go back. For better local food with a view, head to Avra at Prasoudi beach a 10 min drive away. The local village Agios Mattheos has 2 shops for all your food needs plus a bakery and some eateries. You will need a car at this property. As such you can visit most of the island easily enough although the rural roads are poorly maintained and narrow, requiring some caution and confidence. The local area provides some nice quiet beaches with beautiful clear water and is a great base for visiting other places. We got to Corfu Town, Agios Gordios, Messonghi, amongst others, with ease. There is a problem with litter locally that really spoils the local countryside. There are large waste collection areas on the road where vast amounts of rubbish is dumped and collected about once a fortnight. This rubbish gets blown into the surrounding countryside which is a great shame. In summary, Villa Romantic is a great base with beautiful views and a lovely pool but does require some attention and a review of facilities to ensure they are working and are enough for up to 8 people as advertised.

Lovely villa with fantastic infinity pool

The villa is lovely. Really spacious rooms and fantastic views over the roof tops of the sea below. The sheets and towels changed weekly and pool cleaned. The owner family brought great big delicious moussaka on second week which was really kind and arranged for airport transfers home and a trip to supermarket in the village. In fact this is only downside, definitely need a car as 3km walk to village (approx 50mins walk to nearest shop in village up hill!) No taxi or car hire in village, but 2 supermarkets bakerys and several bars tavernas. Didn't visit any of the bars/tavernas though as no car to be able to get there.! A bus is available once a day from the village which would have been great had we been nearer but down by paramonas beach you're isolated. Although 3 tavernas on beach front, Skala restaurant really good but all nice and everyone riendly. The guy in Plori restaurant even got some supplies from the village for us on his moped as felt sorry for us! Param is lovely

Wunderbare Villa in absolut ruhiger Lage mit fantastischem Ausblick

Durch Zufall sind wir auf diese unglaubliche Villa gestossen. Neben einer absolut ruhigen Lage mit einem fantastischen Ausblick auf das Meer und gigantische Sonnenuntergänge gibt es auch einen großen & gepflegten Pool. In nur wenigen Autominuten erreicht man typische & richtig guteTavernen, sowie den netten Ort Agios Mattheos. In der dortigen Olivenmühle "The Governor" trifft man auf die Inhaber der Villa - die Familie Dafnis. Ihre Gastfreundschaft ist ebenso überragend wie das dort produzierte Olivenöl. Wir kommen sicher wieder an diesen außergewöhnlich schönen Flecken Erde.

Sehr schön - auch in der Vorweihnachtszeit

Wir waren Mitte Dezember im Haus und wurden hier willkommen geheißen. Wir haben eine Woche mit Sonne und blauem Himmel hier verbracht. Der Blick vom Balkon auf das Meer und in den Sonnenuntergang war wunderschön. Sehr zu empfehlen

Überwältigender Meerblick

Diese vollklimatisierte Villa in Paramonas ist traumhaft schön. Der Blick auf das Ionische Meer ist wirklich überwältigend und hat uns viele schöne Sonnenuntergänge beschert. Die Villa ist insbesondere bei schönem Wetter ein Traum, weil hier großzügige Balkone mit kindersicheren Balustraden, ein sehr schöner Garten und ein großzügiger sehr gepflegter Pool keine Wünsche offen lassen. Extremer Regen und Sturm - die wir erlebt haben- sind leider für die Villa eine Herausforderung: den sturzbachartigen Regen konnte die Villa nicht daran hindern ins Haus zu geraten, auch hat der Sturm einmal das große Rolltor aus den Angeln gehoben. Abzüge mache ich bei der Wohnungseinrichtung, die allerdings auch auf den Fotos genau zu sehen ist. Insbesondere die Kunst an den Wänden und die Porzellanfiguren waren eher kitschiger Natur, die Möblierung war jedoch zweckmäßig und hatte allerdings schon ein paar Besucher beherbergt. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, die Küche war ein bisschen heruntergewirtschaftet, auch fehlten uns ein paar scharfe Messer und etwas mehr Schneidmesser etc. Das untere Bad roch ein bisschen nach "Rohr", offenbar gab es hier Probleme mit dem Siphon (Geruchsverschluss). Klasse wiederum war die kleine Grundversorgung (Brot, Käse, Wurst und eine Flasche Weißwein), die uns als Willkommensgruß gestellt worden sind und vor allem die Mussakka, die die Eigentümer uns persönlich und heiß vorbeigebracht haben (sowie zusätzlich ein paar wirklich schöne Aufmerksamkeiten, die ich hier aber nicht verrate). Ebenfalls hervorragend war der zweimal und überraschend durchgeführte "Roomservice", bei dem uns eine nette Dame die Betten frisch bezogen hatte und sogar das Haus einmal durchgewischt hat. Auch der bereits erwähnte Pool war stets (trotz Sturm und Regen) stets in Spitzenverfassung, dank Yannis, dem Poolkeeper, der darüber hinaus auch hervorragend Englisch sprach und uns tolle Tipps gegeben hat. Paramonas ist eher ein ruhiger Ort, deshalb ist das hier nicht unbedingt die erste Adresse für Partygänger und Teenager. Die Umgebung weist leider relativ viel Müll auf sowie Autowracks - schade, da sollte unbedingt ein Flaschen- und Dosenpfandsystem und eine Aufräumaktion her, denn die Natur ist wirklich schön und hat diese Behandlung nicht verdient. Zusammengefasst: ein ruhiger Ort, eine sehr schöne Villa (mit mittelschöner Innenausstattung) und sehr guter Pool-Service, Roomservice und großzügige Gastgeber!

Tolles Haus ist bester Lage

Das Haus ist perfekt für einen entspannten Urlaub. Es liegt ruhig am Berg zwischen Olivenbäumen. Der Pool ist toll. Haus und Gelände bieten viel Platz und sind gut gepflegt. Man hat eine tolle Aussicht aufs Meer. Fußläufig gibt es die Taverne „Skala“, wo man gut essen kann.

Villa mit großartigem Blick aufs Meer und viel Platz zur Entspannung

Sehr schöner Ort für einen Familienurlaub: Großzügige Villa mit viel Platz innen und außen. Fantastischer Blick aufs Meer. 10 Minuten Fußweg zum kleinen Strand. Drei Tavernen im Ort, davon im Oktober leider zwei schon saisonbedingt geschlossen. Dafür ist die noch geöffnete (Skala) sehr gut: Sehr freundlicher Betreiber, leckere authentische Gerichte im schönen Garten. Im Ort keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, aber im 3 km entfernten Agios Mattheos gibt es Geschäfte für den täglichen Bedarf.

Amazing Villa

Wow!! This villa is absolutely stunning everything about it was perfect from the booking with the owner Spyros to the actual stay. , amazing views of the sea and a gorgeous sunset. Located in a small little village it was the perfect getaway from the main tourist areas of the island. A five minute walk to the small little beach that literally had about a dozen people on it. A couple of restaurants in the village too although one of them had closed for the season. The villa is family owned and what a family they are!! extremely helpful with anything you need Spyros and George couldn’t be more accommodating. On arrival the fridge was stocked with bottles of water , wine and beer!! Also some bread and other bits. It’s these sort of things that make a difference when staying away. In the middle of the week one evening George turned up holding a red hot tray full of Moussaka freshly cooked by his mother- I can honestly say I’ve never had such a great Moussaka like that, unbelievable flavours - Thank you ! If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the towns and cities then I can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely be returning.

A relaxing and idyllic holiday in beautiful surroundings

The villa was spacious, well equipped and modern in a quiet, traditional remote area. The pool is perfect with stunning views over the sea. The roads around this side of the island are narrow with potholes but we managed in a nine seater minibus. A short walk down to the beach where there is crystal clear, warm water and mainly sand. Spyros was an excellent host who couldn't have been more welcoming. The tour of the family Olive Mill was fascinating and the Moussaka which his mother cooked for us was the best we have tasted. We would definitely recommend this Villa as a place to come and relax and unwind. One of the best holidays we have had. Thank you Spyros and family
