Very clean, quaint/ cozy cottage feel house. Large dining room, spacious dining room.Large patio Town is quiet, walking distance to wharf restaurant. outside view of deer, turkeys, and the stars.
Clean, had EVERYTHING we needed! Beautiful property, enjoyed cooking outside on the Blackstone in the beautiful sunny weather. Property came complete with daily parade of about 24 turkeys and a deer. Couldn't ask for better communication and hosts! Highly recommend!
We had a great stay and had everything we needed. Although the weather was overcast, we were still able to enjoy the deck/patio and cook a nice meal. Would definitely book again!
Absolutely wonderful property! We felt right at home and had everything we needed. We loved the location and we could easily get to many areas to explore. The house was extremely clean and the communication with the host was excellent. We couldn't recommend this property more highly! Thank you so much to our hosts. We would love to come back.
The house is cozy, clean and very well equipped. The host added some very special touches to make it even more inviting. My kids and I loved to learn more about the lobster catching art, following the legacy of the host’s family.
We loved our stay at Pam’s home. The village of Corea is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The large yard, spacious rooms and well-equipped kitchen made it a great place to stay with kids. Highly recommended and we would look forward to returning day.
Comfortable and spacious house in a quiet, coastal neighborhood
Property is very comfortable and well-stocked. We chose it to avoid the crowds on MDI. It also gave us an excuse to explore the Schoodic Peninsula and a nice coastal drive to Bar Harbor.
Check-in/out was easy and the host provides an extensive binder of hikes, restaurants, etc in the area.
We couldn't be happier with our stay. The house was just as described and Pamela thought of every detail to make our stay more comfortable. The town is quaint and yet close to enough to outdoor activities and restaurants. Pamela was responsive and accommodating every step of the way. I honestly can't think of one thing I would change.
Pamela was fantastic and helpful. Very prompt when we needed help with anything. Corea is a beautiful town and locals were excited to have us. We did a boat tour and saw seals even swimming in the harbor. Pamela was very generous and had all the amazing starters for us. The kids were able to burn off energy in the yard and play with outside and indoor games Pamela has onsite and ready for you. Amazing time and beautiful home. Thanks for sharing your home with us! We plan to be back!
A great choice for the front end of our Maine vacation, wanting to be nearby Acadia but also enjoy some quiet downtime. Our family of five had plenty of space inside and we also enjoyed the large outdoor space (especially at night). Would certainly recommend for those looking to explore the Schoodic side of Acadia as part of their time.
Comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood away from noisy tourist areas. Plan on driving to do any sight seeing. Bar Harbor is approx an hour away via car due to traffic and speed limits. A ferry runs from a neighboring town for $20 one way.
We had a great family week at this property in Corea ME.
It was clean, comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, great location. The neighborhood is quiet and the deck is a great place to gather for morning coffee and star gazing at night. We traveled up the coast to Machias to visit family, took the ferry to Bangor, went to Acadia for Cadillac Mountain, some hiked others drove, and Schoodic Peninsula. The owner was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Loved the property and the area.
Check in process was easy, the host responsive, the home very clean. We were a party of 4 and there was room for at least 4 more. The outdoor space was more than expected. We were there to give my mother a chance to reconnect to the place she grew up in and hasn't been back to in a long time. The village is lovely, the people friendly. The perfect place for peace and quiet.
We really enjoyed our stay in Corea. The house was much larger than pictured and offered a great amount of space for gathering. We enjoyed hanging out in the kitchen and on the large deck! The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful to walk. It took us a little over an hour to get to Acadia but the drive was beautiful. Pam was extremely responsive. I highly recommend staying here and would absolutely stay here again!
This was my first Vrbo or any house rental stay, I am hooked. This place was beyond my expectations. Clean, Cute and Comfortable. The inside was setup wonderfully, Had pod coffee pods awaiting us. the porch was wonderful and the furniture on it was so comfy. this location is right up the street from the Warf and a restaurant where I had...of course a 2+ pound lobster on the harbor. I would defiantly stay here again IF up in the area
We stayed in the summer and, while the interior spaces are beautiful and cozy, we spent most of it time at the house on the spectacular wrap around porch. Why eat in a restaurant when you have Corea harbor, singing birds, a beautiful garden and warm Maine sunshine to enjoy outside? Colt nights were also spent outside by the fire pit. We could not ask for a better place to spend some time with family. Thank you so much!!
We feel like we won the lottery! This place was exactly as portrayed and exactly what we wanted. Cozy, comfortable, relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedding was comfortable. We enjoyed walking the quiet streets of Corea and meeting neighbors. The locals we met were pleasant, helpful and willing to share their stories of life in the area. We had need to contact the owner once and she was very responsive to our situation. IF we ever have the opportunity to travel to the area again, we will definitely be looking to book this wonderful gem.
Stayed here over Labor Day weekend with my husband, 8 and 3 year old and my father in law and his girlfriend and the house was a perfect fit for us. Very clean and everything in the kitchen we needed to cook two nice meals. The kids loved the bunk beds and kid books. I enjoyed quiet walks around Corea and reading on the deck. We all enjoyed a visit to the Reverse Tidal Falls and exploring the Schoodic Peninsula part of Acadia National Park.
The host immediately responded when we had a problem with the gas fire pit and even had a person over to fix it within the hour on a holiday weekend. Would stay here the next time we’re visiting.

This was my first experience with a VRBO property. The house is old and needs a little work. However, that did not stop us from enjoying our stay. This home is COMFORTABLE. Pam, the owner, was always prompt in responding to requests. She even had some pet supplies we needed for our dogs:). The area is really quant with a really good local (non tourist) feel. Lots of places to walk and see. Not sure we will be back, there is a lot of this beautiful country to see. But, if we do, we will stay at this home again. Thanks, Pam.
Home was extremely clean and well appointed with extra blankets, towels and full size washer and dryer. (Loved returning home without a bag full of dirty clothes!)
Kitchen was well stocked with plates, pots, utensils etc. This was perfect for our family to prepare breakfast at "home" before heading out for outdoor activities for the day. (We purchased food and supplies outside or Corea). We walked to our Lobster boat tour and ate at local lobster shack that prepared our lobster caught from tour. It was a fun day.
Beds and home furnishings were very comfortable. We enjoyed lounging in TV room and sitting around dining room table playing board games in the evening.
Pam was quick to respond to messages.
We had a wonderful stay.

Clean cottage in a quiet town
This cottage provided a home base for us to cook a few meals and wash clothing while we explored the Acadia area (one hour away). Beautiful and very remote feeling in Corea. Nothing nearby for our kids to do, but very pleasant to walk along the road near the harbor. We did get a lot of mosquitos in the house as about half the screen frames are bent up at the bottom, and with no AC you need the windows open in summer. I wore bug spray to bed which helped. Also there are no working smoke alarms in the home and no safe second exit in the upstairs kids room. It was hot in that room as those windows could not be opened, they are in poor condition and let the most mosquitoes in. So our kids slept in the dining room downstairs near us instead.
