"We have visited Cordes sur Ciel many times. Maison Felix is in an ideal location to visit Cordes and enjoy the surrounding countryside. The house is exactly as described, with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding, heaters in all the rooms, good lighting, and cozy seating areas. The hosts provided croissants, baguette, and wine which was a nice welcome. There is a bucolic garden around the back. It was a perfect place to stay for me, my wife and adult daughter."

"Incredible place! “ a treaure in the sky” as the view is unbelievable!. The village of Cordes sur Ciel will transpiort you in another century. You have to drive up and the parkng might be difficult except at the rental where you beneficiate of a pass right by the house . Our appartement “emergence” was so beautiful. Extremely clean and decorated as in a tasteful home. The breakfast was wonderful and abundant. iThe greeting/service :5 stars too! I rarely make so good review but it was so wonderful!"

"Restaurant is a machine dispensing microwaveable ready meals. Lots of the electrical points were broken. No onsite presence. We had hoped for better than a cheap budget hotel chain offering."

"What a delightful house and a fabulous location. The very attentive owners have presented their lovely property in a charming rural style with great care and thought inside and out. There's plenty of space in the house and no fewer than 4 patios and seating areas in the very large garden. The swimming pool is a short walk along the very quiet road and was perfect for our three year old twins to enjoy after trips out in the morning. This is a beautiful region with medieval hilltop villages and castles to explore, and markets full of wonderful local produce to sample. The property is ideally located for these and the nearby city of Albi which is well worth a visit. We even managed a day trip to Carcassonne and the Black Mountains in the south of Tarn. A super holiday ad we'd love to return some day"

"This unusual property has been sensitively renovated to preserve a wealth of original features. The light touch gives visitors a chance to glimpse what life might have been like when it was used as a farm house for the chateau. While very close to Cordes, the setting, beside fields and in amongst trees, makes it a very peaceful location. During our stay many bats, stars and a few meteors were seen in the night sky. The pool, with its fence for keeping the deer at bay, was wonderful!"

"You could have a lovely holiday here but keep your party to 6 maximum and don't use the attic room in summer!! The area is beautiful but the garden is surprisingly noisy as there is a lot of traffic through the village The three main bedrooms are super. The pool is well shaded and the outdoor dining area is good but cramped"

"We had an 11 night family holiday in this lovely house located a few kms from Cordes but in a very tranquil and peaceful location in a small village. The house is beautifully and sympathetically restored with a lot of character . It also has all the necessary mod cons for a family stay and everything worked really well. There is no air con but with the thick stone walls and wood shutters the house stays nice and cool inside as long as you remember to keep the shutters shut ! The garden and pool area were particularly lovely. The house faces the village church which you can see from the bedroom windows. Very pretty ! We particularly enjoyed dining outside in the evening under the covered terrace. Worked really well being a few steps from the large and very well equipped kitchen . The location of the house is ideal for visiting places of interest in the region including Cordes, Albi, St Antoine de Nobal Val . We particularly enjoyed Narjac and also managed a trip up to the Lot valley. Favourite activity was kayaking on both the Aveyron and the Cele, the latter being in the Lot Valley. The host Elsa was excellent to deal with throughout , very prompt to come back with any questions we had. We would not hesitate recommending booking this host and house for a holiday in the Tarn."
