"Very enjoyable stay at this property. The house is lovely! Great space in the garden for the kids to play. We set up a badminton net and they used in daily. Good woods at the back of the property to walk and explore too! Perfect if you're wanting to head into Newcastle city centre and many of the local beaches. "As there were no directions on how to locate the property it to us over 3 hours the arrive at the front door which was locked and we did not have the code to the key safe. When we finally got in we were put of by the flooring in the small hallway it was not stuck down at all. when we went into the bathroom we were disgusted with filthy state of the shower curtain. The TV took some understanding on how to get to work, you had to unplug the mains lead then plug it back in again"

"Lovely, comfy, clean room. Tea and coffee facilities. Ideal for what we needed for an overnight stay. Does not supply breakfast but can purchase at the pub 5 mins away"

"Flat was spacious, but dated, and is located in an undesirable area. Cleanliness was generally okay but decor etc could do with upgrading and flat may benefit from being aired regularly. We got the impression that it had been a while since the windows had been opened."

"Lovely clean property with lots of space and rooms. Gardens beautiful and accessible with seating. Adults and children really enjoyed our stay however having tv in the reception rooms downstairs would have been ideal. Kitchen was really well stocked with cutlery And plates but there was no basics like salt pepper oil etc. Overall lovely family home. plat3s"

"We had a wonderful stay at Settlers lodge. Beautifully decorated and very well equipped! Loved seeing the squirrels around the garden! Set in a great area for walking and exploring. We enjoyed both the local pub and also a takeaway from the nearby pub. Both we would recommend. Cannot wait to come for a return visit . Thanks again!"

"Property was as described on Vrbo , fairly easy to locate , although (What 3 Words ) app might be an idea to add to info . on arrival parking space was inadequate for family size car . Outside of property there was rubbish left by front door ie old floor covering and wood which didn’t give a good first impression . House was clean , and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay . Only down side was the smell of damp .. overall happy with our stay ."

"Not at at all the property portrayed on the Internet. A few good features, but mainly tired and in need of renovation. Awful location...late night disturbances outside property late at night. Would never return to this property again. I would expect a response from Vrbo!"
