Upon arrival and showing my Expedia Booking and proper Identification, I was told by the young man at the counter that "we do not accept online payments, all payments must be made in person". I again presented my booking #, as well as the digital receipt, and showed him the charge debiting my bank account. He spouted the same ridiculousness again, and... I gave up. I was not about to pay a 2nd time. When Expedia tried to investigate this incident, the hotel staff...
