I rented this small unit on short notice for a few nights and it was OK, but I would not stay here again due to the condition of the property. The best part is the large backyard area which was perfect for my dog. The ground level access makes it very easy for pets to go outside. There is a view of the mountains which is also nice. The kitchen, dining, and living areas, however, are quite dated and the furniture is worn and uncomfortable. The bed does not appear to be a queen. The outside patio has a large crack and is uneven and needs to be repaired.
The property manager was very nice and accommodated my requests for an early check in and a late check out. Upon arrival, I discovered that the sliding door lock and upstairs shower were broken, and several light bulbs needed to be replaced. The property manager responded quickly and repaired the items.
To benefit future guests, I would suggest that the property manager ensure some type of mechanism (e.g., checklist) be put in place so maintenance issues are addressed prior to guests’ arrival and also recommend the unit undergo a renovation or lower the price as there are nicer and larger rentals in the same vicinity at similar price points.
