"The office is always locked and unstaffed but they do answer when you ring the bell. Our room was recently updated but still had a few flaws none of which impeded our stay. One of the window screens was torn so we didnt want to open the window and possibly let in flies or bugs. The other window did open so that was good however nothing more than a plastic clip type holder to stop the window so while we were out we didnt feel it would be safe to leave the window open, we were on the ground floor....

"The Salteater Inn was the perfect spot next to everything! I absolutely loved that it was within walking distance of everything. Definitely felt safe and will for sure go back for future trips. "

"Everything was great except for the state of the property to the north which looked uninhabitable with broken down/abandoned cars, caution tape, etc. it was a mess. I plan on staying again in December and will request a room further south. I did hear noises during the night which were a little unnerving "

"When we got to the property we were a little worried. I like to stay at places that are a step up from my own home. I definitely did not get a good vibe. The cabins were inhabited by people who actually live there-that was obvious. We took the long road to the isolated ocean front building and the parking lot was empty. I have seen this is horror movies where you were running for your life in the middle of the night! This was a last minute weekend get away where we wanted to stay in Ocean Shores...

"Three of the four times I've stayed here this year, the floors have all been re-done. The other was the old carpet which has to go. Check in at the kiosk is easy. Access to the room is easy. Beds are comfy, the place is clean. It has a small refer with freezer space which is real nice for the ice packs. Microwave for convenience. Price is right as is the location."

"The Mariner’s Cove was better than I had expected as the room was plenty big as well as the double sink bathroom. The shower and sink basin drains worked. The Queen sized beds were very comfortable and the mini frig worked great. There was one numbered parking spot just for my room. The parking area is small so don’t know where a boat would park. "It was like stepping back in time. The property was charming and quaint, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We’d definitely go back."

"Stacie at front desk was fantastic! Walls and ceilings are Paperthin, but our neighbors were pretty quiet, so we had a pretty good nights sleep!!! Overpriced for what you get, but very good location!!"

"We had a ladies’ retreat at the Brathouse. It was easy to check in and out. It was pretty clean but had a few cobwebs. Plenty of room for 11 to stay comfortably. Easy to get to the beach walking on the road. We would stay there again. "

"Cleaning person was an hour late getting the house ready for our arrival. Sofa was a little soft & the TV didn’t have very good options to watch plus there was no Wi-Fi."

"Property is a little dated, but well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. Front desk people efficient and friendly. It was a little too cool and breezy for us to enjoy the pool and hot tub, but we enjoyed walking the roughly quarter-mile trail from behind the hotel down to the beach, and then a walk along the beach. Restaurants, bars, and stores nearby. The room has a comfortable living room and fully equipped kitchenette, so would be very nice for a stay of a week or more."

"This was a very cute stay. The room was huge! We stayed in room #21. It had a queen and king bed and tons of space. The parking was kind of a pain just due to space. Outside our door was a ton of spiders but we texted the number and they took care of it right away. Water pressure was awesome! Also, excellent location, you can literally walk to all the shops and the beach from your room. Will definitely stay there again if we fine ourselves in ocean shores. "
