"We loved the hotel and where it was situated, our room was nice and clean but views was sadly lacking, bar and staff very good but I felt the outside has the potential of being better , nothing seriously wrong but a little more effort and it’ll be lovely . We would definitely come back"

"Last-minute booking for Goodwood Festival of Speed and luckily we found a room here. It was better than I expected from photo, a spacious room with a 4-poster bed, the bathroom had a bath and a walk-in shower. Although no air-con, there was a large fan and we slept well. My husband enjoyed the full breakfast with good quality bacon, eggs and sausage; he doesn't eat tomatoes, so declined the heritage ones offered. "Excellent Host! Excellent Breakfast! Breakfast on time and cooked just as I asked. All the amenities you would need. Really clean room. Had Parking. Great location to town, bus stop or train station. Would recommend and stay again!"

"Different kind of stay- think upmarket Airbnb but as a hotel. No staff on site- (although there was when we checked in as the house keeper and the owner appeared to be doing some maintenance). So all done by email- you get a code to access the doors. Our room was ready at 1pm- so it's an early check in which is good. Room was tidy and clean. "We booked here last minute, and what a wonderful choice. The staff were simply incredible and really friendly. We came in a little early to see if we could check in early, and within 15 minutes we were sorted. The bar staff were great, we didn't have to wait for service and drinks and again really helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was perfect!
