Cookson is very small. It has 2 places to eat and 1 Dollar General. There is a park in Cookson that is by the lake with camping areas and a boat dock. If you need to get groceries, do so before heading into Cookson.



This is a little “Gem” in the Lake Tenkiller community. The host provides everything you would need for a relaxing stay, we especially enjoyed roasting s’more over the fire pit it is cozy, clean and quiet. Also make sure you stop at Ike’s Takeout, great food and people, another little “Gem”Sue T. ...

The cabin was amazing and clean. Dana was very accommodating and friendly. We had everything we needed during our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked. My favorite place to be was the hammock out front. We had an amazing time and will be back!!!
