This charmingly renovated cottage on Lake Michigan's Big Bay de Noc includes 240 feet of private sandy beach!

This property is located next to the Sunset Beach House (VRBO #4319090) and can be rented concurrently.

Available to rent year-round, the cottage includes both air conditioning, and forced air heat and pellet stove.

Located about 40 miles east of Escanaba, with easy access to trails for snowmobiling and 4-wheeling.

SPECTACULAR SUNSETS!

Other than the shower needing a quick cleaning Soni could utilize the seat in it, and having to carry in 40lb bags of pellets (cause I'm a wimpy old-ish (50) woman ), I LOVED the sunsets!!!! ...and EVERYTHING else! about

My wife and rented the cottage for the 2nd year in a row – this time for 2 glorious weeks. The accommodations are excellent – kitchen, appliances, bathrooms, and bedrooms. The view and lake access are beautiful and great for wading and playing in the water. The sunsets are breathtaking! The Roomba, grill, and kayaks most excellent accessories. We look forward to another summer sojourn at the Sunset Beach Cottage!

A Beautiful Lake House!

We honeymooned at the Sunset Beach Cottage and loved it immensely! The setting is idyllic and the cottage is beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is excellent, and the living room furniture is superb. It is an amazing place to have a great time and create beautiful memories!

Cozy pet-friendly cottage on Lake Michigan

We and our two dogs enjoyed our 5-day visit to this charming log-style cottage on the Lake Michigan shore. We woke up each morning to a beautiful view and the sunsets were spectacular. Our first few days were cool and rainy outside, but warm & cozy inside with the wood pellet fireplace. The cottage is updated with modern appliances and everything you need to do your own cooking. When we had a glitch with the internet due to a recent power outage, the owners, Patrick & Heather, were very helpful, first trouble-shooting by phone & then arranging for a technician to come the next day. We enjoyed visiting Indian Lake State Park, Kitch-Iti-Kipi Spring, Manistique Boardwalk & historic Nahma, all nearby. Overall, a great stay!

This was our first trip to Michigan and we picked the perfect place to spend a week, The cabin was immaculate and lacked nothing, The view out back is what we have missed and the privacy was perfect. We just got back to Florida and both wish we were still at the cabin.

Lovely setting!

This property is so great for a couple or family to get away from the hustle and bustle! It's quiet and not too difficult to find, though really pretty secluded. Right on the water with plenty of wildlife wandering through. Sunsets are amazing with a campfire right on the beach. I would absolutely return in a heartbeat!

Great family get away

Beautiful property right on the lake. Water is crystal clear and the lakefront is sandy bottom and shallow for a long way out making it great for little kids. Quiet bay meant calm water. House was fully stocked and very clean. We used the firepit and just really enjoyed our trip. Owners were very responsive. We would stay again.

Sunset cottage

Nice stay at this cottage. It was warm enough the first day to get in the water which was much warmer than we expected for the UP. It is very shallow for a long way out. We saw a beautiful sunset early in the week before it got cooler and rainy. The Dock Bar and Grill is just up the road and has great fresh fish!

Great Place to Stay!

I had a great week staying here with my boyfriend and our dog. The cottage is on the water and has beautiful views. I enjoyed sitting by the water and reading a book. So peaceful. The lake has a sandy bottom, and the sand bar goes out pretty far. We loved exploring the area and took trips to Pictured Rocks, Fayette State Park, Benny the Beard Fisher and Kitch-iti-kipi. The listing was very accurate. The cottage was very clean, and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. I loved how the cottage was dog friendly! There were food bowls, a food mat and bags outside to pick up after your dog. We had a great time and would book again!

Fabulous getaway!

Walking into this cottage was like I had been there before. The pictures are so accurate. Everything was just great. We had a fabulous time even though I didn’t get a chance to use the kayak. We did check out the historic Fayette Village state park. Also went to see the Big Spring Indian Lake. We would love to come back here again, in fact, I could just move in. The only thing was the pots and pans were not the best. Thanks for everything. Great place!

Great place for a get-away

Great location and cabin. Close to so many things, but also quiet and so beautiful. The lake level is low, but the kids still enjoyed the kayaks and floating pad. We used the grill and also made smores at the firepit - both were in great shape. Kids had fun playing games in the yard and playing on the beach. We watched beautiful sunsets. The addition of the water cooler and new shower head were really nice. The cabin was great and we will definitely stay again.

Cabin family getaway!

We loved spending the week in this modern, clean and comfortable cabin! Seemed everything was carefully thought of to ensure our stay was fun and relaxing!! Our communication with the property manager, Heather was helpful and professional!! We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, volleyball and camp fires! We grocery shopped in at Jacks Fresh Market in Manistique, visited Kitch-iti-kipi, Pictured Rocks, and great mountain biking at Bruno’s Run! Fishing at Moccasin Lake..(Hiawatha National Forest) Loved our stay, and looking forward to another visit!
