Go to Bear tooth pass and the old indian...something. up high on the mtns. You will not be disappointed. Its an old town with old fashioned amenities. Overall, not too bad but needs help.

Sparse supplies, bring your own. Locals are friendly and there is a tavern with decent food and a couple of small stores for basics. Had a moose in our yard.

"The cabin met all of our expectations. So much so, I wish we could have stayed longer. Easy access to the center of Cooke City. It was comfortable to sit and read and enjoy the solittude of being away from the bustle of the city. I will consider staying here again."

"The unit was great for our needs. Stayed a couple of nights while visiting family who were camping nearby. Furniture and beds comfortable. It was unexpectedly hot in Cooke city, but shaded patio space was just enough to get the cool breeze. Would definitely stay again. "
