"We had 2 separate stays here on our recent visit to Australia. We stayed in the main hotel in a deluxe room, then a standard room. They were identical with the only difference being that the deluxe has a shared large balcony overlooking the outdoor bar area. The rooms were of a high standard of decor & cleanliness. Very well equipped.
Although it is clearly stated that the rooms can be noisy because they are above the bar which my husband did not find an issue, I found it very hard to sleep. The deluxe room was noisy from the pumping music & the standard room from heavy road noise with music noise at times. The rooms are sibgle glazed so its like having the window open & they really need some soundproofing.
Great location across from the beach but wouldnt stay here again if I visited & would pick somewhere in a quieter area. "
