"Great little cabin for a quick trip. We stayed for a long weekend and it was perfect for my family of 4 - kids ages 2 & 4. There is a cute creek and big rock they climbed in the morning as I made breakfast. The use of Nordic Village amenities is key! The cabin is very small, but it was everything we needed. As my kids get older, the space wouldn't work bc it is a bit tight, but I would definitely rebook for a future stay before we outgrow it. For families with very busy toddlers, be aware -...

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We were delighted to find the beautiful Pemi River just minutes away via a short walk through the woods adjacent to the property. It was an unseasonably warm and wet winter weekend, and the driveway / parking areas were muddy, so just a bit of a warning for other guests to expect this."

"We spent one night at this a frame. Very cozy in a natural setting. Owner very easy to talk to and pleasant. We enjoyed our coffee on the porch in the sun. Easy walk to a brook and lake."

"We had a few hiccups (cleaning company hadn’t come) but fortunately the people before had left the house in good condition. The owner was so really responsive and tried to fix the situation as quickly as he could which we really appreciated. Also, The top bunk does not have a rail so I would avoid having kids up there if you can!"

"We spent a lovely restful week at the cottage. It was a great to have the water just steps away, and the available kayaks are a definite bonus! Such a calm, peaceful lake to paddle around on, just big enough with no fear of getting lost. "We loved our stay on Sheep Island with the family, kids and grandparents. We have been coming to Kezar for years so are familiar with this part of the lake. We were so happy with the property which faces the mountains for great sunsets and views. Cabin 1, which is newly renovated was our home base for relaxing and eating meals with Cabin 2 mainly used for sleeping. "Our host Marianne made our stay very relaxing. She is very accommodating and very responsive. We like to hike with our dog. The property is located near several hiking trails with varying degrees of difficulty. Our pup loved it. The cabin was also comfortable enough for us to leave him behind for a short time while we went out for some shopping. We would recommend this property to anyone with a pup who enjoys the outdoors but also likes quiet at night. "

"I loved the mountain views and amenities. The rooms are very outdated. Bathroom needs the most updating; the glass shower door fell on my while trying to get off the shower, luckily it did not break. I would stay with them again for the views/amenities but would love to see renovations done on the rooms and balcony."
