"Villa Poggio Scalette was truly a dream place to stay on our vacation. The pictures cannot do this beautiful home justice - you have to see it for yourself!! The view, the amazing property, the Tuscan touches in the decorating with all the modern amenities - we already cannot wait to go back!!! "A large property off the beaten track and best accessed using a small(ish) car. Saw a wild boar returning to the house one night! Great garden and pool area - loads of space to do what you want in the house and outside and a variety of terraces to use. Got everything you need, but some if it is quite dated. "The home is beautiful. It was modern yet charming. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. There are two separate living rooms with pullout couches. It was also in a great location inside the Lucca walls. We were a family traveling with a small child and a crib and high chair were included.
