"Gorgeous location, dekicious food, lovely friendly and helpful staff "

"We hebben het heel erg naar ons zin gehad, ook al was het weer de eerste week koud en nat. Het huis ligt prachtig op een heuvel met verschillende mooie uitzichten een tuin rondom het huis. Goede tuinstoelen!Het huis is sfeervol ingericht en is zeer schoon en goed onderhouden. Voor de koude avonden is er een houtkachel. De keuken apparatuur is goed. De eigenaren zijn zeer behulpzaam en erg aardig.De omgeving is geweldig. Het nationale park Siërra Norte de Sevilla is heel geschikt om te wandelen. Overal zijn wandelingen uitgezet. Het stadje Constantina ligt op een half uur lopen van het huis, via een brede onverharde weg, en is erg gezellig. Veel restaurantjes en cafés. Er is een grote supermarkt. We gaan hier zeker nog eens terugkomen."

"Ana fue una anfitriona maravillosa! Nos recibió con vino, frutas frescas y algunas compras por que llegábamos noche! La casa tenía olor a perfume lo cual me hizo sentir bienvenida y como me mi propio hogar. Todo muy limpio y acogedor. La gente del pueblo muy amable. Recomiendo El mesón de Cristóbal cerca de la parada del bus- por cierto, el transporte fácil de entender y tomar hacia Sevilla en caso que no manejen. Les va a encantar!"

"Beautiful old-style inn, the house of a Spanish painter (thus the name). Super friendly, helpful people, excellent breakfast prepared by a great lady. One caution: no one spoke much English, so be prepared. About like a beautiful B&B - highly recommend."

"Beautiful hotel. I had self check in and the entrance was cluttered...at first I had difficulty figuring out where and which door I was supposed to use to enter the hotel. Luckily with prior communication through WhatsApp, I re-examine the photo and finally figured it out. The hotel is gorgeous. Decor, quiet, beautiful location. I parked and had to walk about 10 minutes back to the hotel. Lots of unusual signage on the streets about parking... Proceed with caution. "

"We had a fantastic stay at La Escribana. The house is perfect and the garden is very spacious and verdant. The couple that look after the property, Lola and Fernando, are extremely attentive and were a real pleasure to meet- they attended every day to sort the pool and tend the immaculate garden and were always happy to offer suggestions for local bars, restaurants, trips, etc. Maarten, the owner of the property, was in communication from the start and was very responsive and helpful dealing with any queries. Constantina is a pleasant, working agricultural town which does not get many tourists. The property is outside the village itself, is only a 10 min walk away and has all the amenities you may need- a good range of supermarkets/food shops and plenty of bars with excellent food. Sevilla and Cordoba are about an hour's drive away, the lovely city of Carmona 45 mins. We would highly recommend and would love to go back again."
