"After you park you enter a little Oasis right in town. This place is stunning! Beds and couches are comfortable! Listening to the tiny waterfall in this wonderful backyard setting is a must! Landscape is immaculate. You almost feel secluded like you are out in the woods, because of all the trees surrounding majority of the place. Best candle company(Warm Glow) shop 15 min drive."

"The house was perfect for our stay. We were in the area for our daughter’s graduation from Miami U and to move her out of her house. It’s impossible to find anything in Oxford during such events and are so glad we expanded our search and found this location. An easy 25 minute drive and plenty of room for us to park our truck towing a U-Haul in the front. The insides looked new and were clean. The style is a tasteful modern look but very comfortable. "What a wonderful home. My family stayed here for the weekend of the total Solar Eclipse in April 2024. The hosts were spectacularly welcoming and helpful to us throughout our stay. The house is ideal for a relaxing, fun getaway. We enjoyed the game room, watched a movie, cooked, hung out in the back yard, listened to music, had a fire, enjoyed the hot tub, and just had a fantastic time. Highly recommend!"

"The hosts thought of everything to make this place special … bottled water, hand towels and slippers, tea and oatmeal, festive decorations everywhere, spices and kitchen extras, and sweet little homey touches throughout. The host was exceptionally kind. We will definitely seek his properties out for future stays to visit family!"

"It was a great place for our group to gather to watch the eclipse, and then visit with each other afterwards. Very historic house with potential to be even more grand if renovations continue. The gazebo is nice. The yard would be even better with a garden or flowering trees. We enjoyed exploring the house. So much room!"

"The pictures uploaded are either very old, or doctored. Bed sheets had stains on them with black light. Cameras installed throughout the inside of the home. No running water when we arrived. We checked into a motel, and then owner tried to charge me $2000.00 for "water damage", when there was no running water and we never stayed."

"3 busy moms needed a break. We wanted something away from the craziness of life. This house was perfect for just that. Out in the country where the sky was full of stars, the sounds of nature around you and walking distance to the lake. Ready for next year!"

"This home is in a cute quiet neighborhood and was perfectly appointed. While we didn’t have a chance to use the backyard fire pit area we sure wanted to. We appreciated the coffee and basket of snacks provided. This was the perfect place for us and only 35 minutes from Oxford."

"Great place to stay! Lots of space and things to do. Weather was also great. Owner was very responsive and the folks they have in the area to help out were great too. Close enough to be able to run to town if needed, but tucked back in the woods enough you feel more in touch with nature."

"Property very clean and cute. Decorated as a a fairytale cottage. Our biggest complaint it was not advertised - The cottage had a spiral staircase to second bathroom and 3 bedrooms We are seniors and the staircase was hard to navigate. The only other complaint no bedroom had a bedside lamp or light. Each had a stand but no lamp. This made it difficult to see at night if you needed to find the bathroom. But over all a nice house nice location"
