"The cottage was gorgeous, in a lovely quiet location and parking at the back. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We only stayed a night but it had almost everything you'd need for a stay. A bit of soap in the bathroom and teatowel/towel and washing up liquid in the kitchen with some milk for a cuppa when you arrive would have made it perfect. The bedding and towels were lovely and soft and smelt nice and the bed was very comfy. It was close to Hornsea and a large Tesco. I would...

"Had such high hopes for this place, based on the images and location, but was so disappointed when we arrived. Genuinely considered leaving and paying to go elsewhere. Host was really great with communication and checking in, but wished we knew before booking that you actually stay at the scratty end of their property, with all the chicken coops and sheep. Property was much more outdated than on the pics and cupboards were dirty. On the plus side, the beds were comfy. I've never been more...

"Communication at the start was a problem but this was quickly resolvedLocation is excellent on the edge of Hull old city - great and the modern city centre( not so good!)Kitchen - V good well equippedLounge - a little spartan could have done with another chair etcBedrooms - very comfy but somewhat noisy at night when it rained Bathrooms - ok but it did take an age for the water to get hot"

"David was an excellent host, and the cottage was a lovely place to stay. Very comfortable accommodation close to local amenities and a lovely canal to walk down with pooch right outside the door. Although there is no designated parking, street parking is a 10 second walk away, so this wasn't an issue. There was even a guitar on the wall to have a relaxing noodle. Thanks again David"

"I had a great stay. It’s a very nice apartment. Central, immaculately clean. Very comfortable bed. Full cooking and washing facilities for short or longer stays. Big smart tv in the lounge. Friendly and easy communication with the owner who wants you to have the best stay possible. "

"Accommodation was clean and tidy. Very quiet and an easy drive into Hull"
