"Our good friend's daughter was getting married in Colorado Springs, so a group of our high school friends went on a road trip. Before the wedding, we planned a concert at Red Rocks and found this historical house that could fit us all. We had a blast! The house is situated in a State Park and the trailhead to the Red Rocks hike was very close. This was a great hike, but not a recommended walk to the concert. "The property work for us well as we needed at least three separate sleeping areas in close proximity to the Sloan's Lake area. The layout is a little weird, and there are a lot of small items that need attention (loose door knobs and fixtures, locks on doors), but it was okay for us as we really only slept there."

"We really enjoyed our stay. I can’t remember the last time I stayed in such a peaceful place. The Mountain View’s from every window were amazing. From the moment we walked in, everything was clean and beautifully decorated. The house was the perfect size for our family with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The beds were very comfortable and the bedroom closets were very roomy. Three full bathrooms is a game changer as no one had to wait to take a shower. I wouldn’t hesitate...
