Loved it! Cute town and lovely breakfast. Nice restaurant at the neck back Pecks and casual pub food at the front. On small thing service was slow in the pub food and breakfast. Seems understaffed! Eveything else was great.

ACH is a very clean hotel. The hosts excel in delivering an enjoyable stay and were very accommodating during our stay and the scones were amazing! The room had a very comfortable bed with pristine linen. A very relaxing bedroom. The bathroom was spotless. Decor is nice and furnishings luxurious. Fresh milk in the fridge for the Nespresso maker and a bottle of water! Comfy bed and spacious room and large bathroom.

My family of four stayed in this lovely inn at the end of December 2015. We were looking for a place to stay between attending a Manchester United Football game and visiting the English countryside. This location was perfect! It allowed us to stay out of the city in a more relaxed and less commercial inn, so that we could truly get a feel for the area. The rooms were spacious, charmingly decorated, and clean. The staff could not do enough for us, even postponing a scheduled fire drill because we told the breakfast staff I was planning on taking a jet lag nap before going out to explore the countryside. Meals were absolutely delicious with a great take on traditional favourites. A must stay!

An absolute gem of a hotel. Wonderful in all respects!

This was our first night in our UK trip and was arguably the best place we could stay to introduce us to this country. Our room was small but the stone walls and lovely decor made it feel simultaneously rustic and contemporary. The bathroom was well designed and had a wonderful shower that was just what we needed after 15 hours of travel. The bed was a dream, I haven’t slept that well in a long time. Breakfast was spectacular. They make their own bread! The people were lovely. The check-in process was ridiculously simple and straightforward. The on-site was easy. The room was comfortable and clean. We will definitely stay here again!

Great property, reasonably priced, comfortable and clean room. Kitchenette was great and the bathroom was lovely. I found the bed to be incredibly comfortable. Breakfast buffet was great, plenty of choices, and allergens were labeled for all items; separate space for gluten-free items. Had a little problem with the toilet but the staff said they would be quick to fix it. Other than that our stay was great. The food and service were excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel!

If you're seeking the quintessetial English county location, this is it. The scenery is beautiful. There is a wonderful pub and restaurant, where the food is actually exceptional. Our room was fantastic, clean and authentically English. Well-appointed with a comfortable 4-poster bed. The Bull Head Inn seems like a bit of a fairy tale, but is not at all contrived. Truly authentic English charm.
