"My brother and I had a spacious family room which was clean and refreshed every day. Bunk bed wasn’t good for an adult but probably fine for kids. Room was warm and shower was strong. Staff were very friendly and helpful in the pub on an evening. Nige was chatty and especially helpful with parking our motorbikes overnight No breakfast included or available, sadly, but a good choice of evening pub grub. Be mindful of long waits on busy weekends."

"Check in was at a busy bar, and the first person I spoke to told me that someone else would deal with my check-in. So, I was left standing there with my bags with other customers trying to get past me to order drinks - until somebody else turned up. The room was on a terrace next to a children's play area, so it was noisy until the pub part closed. Still, the room was cosy enough. "Room itself was perfectly clean. Bed comfortable, shower good and vegetarian breakfast lovely. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was quite noisy until 11pm (when the pub closes, the hand dryer in the pub toilets must be immediately under the bed!) but after 11pm, really quiet all night. "Travelled from Yorkshire en route to the New Forest, stayed one night. We had a comfortable nights stay, an amazing evening meal & a fantastic breakfast! We would love to return. Great room facilities including a fan which was much appreciated! Popular with the locals which is always a good sign. Recommended! "
