"First impressions when i parked up and looked at the building was that it looked tired and in need of some tlc, when entering the reception area it was immaculately clean and bright with welcoming friendly helpful staff. Walking to my room i was impressed by the dining area and bar. My room was spotless and very comfortable with the best blackout curtains. Very impressed with the room but a personal preference would have been to be on the first floor. All the staff were excellent and the breakfast was exceptional. I will definately stay again and hopefully enjoy just as much."

"We stayed one night to break a journey. The staff were very helpful. I enjoyed a good swim in the lovely pool.The breakfast was good. It's a shame that the building is looking somewhat tired but understandable with today's costs."

"What a lovely hotel, everything was excellent. The only issue we had was being told by 2 members of staff that the kitchen closed at 9pm but when i went down to place a food order at 8.45pm i was told the kitchen had already closed at 8.30pm as it was a Sunday. Breakfast was fantastic and an added bonus as included within the price. Would not hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area."

"Brilliant staff and super clean, comfortable room. The breakfast is in a fancy wee hamper in your room and there is plenty of choice. OJ and milk in the fridge. Very short walk into the town for a restaurant and a Tesco express too."
