On the road to Compton Dando. Taken from the same spot as 1010677 but with a much longer lens. Now we can see the post office tower on Purdown and a few other items. During WWII an anti-aircraft gun was located here which we knew as Purdown Percy. For a close-up see 1022725

At the bottom of Fairy Hill Looking over a folded landscape to Lye Hill, I am told there is a ruined farmhouse at the top. The River Chew flows beyond the first hedge over.

Ploughed field on Middlepiece Lane. Don't think I said 1009545 was taken on Middlepiece Lane, too busy going on about horses. We are now on the other side of the lane where the field has already been ploughed.

The Lakeside walk in the Newton Park campus of Bath Spa University is my favourite place to go between lectures. The natural beauty of this campus is one of the reasons I chose to apply to this university. I still find it crazy how quickly I can feel immersed in the great outdoors, whilst still being close to the university buildings. Filled with swans, ducks, herons and a 15th century tower across the lake, there is plenty to sit back and appreciate. #Trovember Photo Contest
