"Centrally located with free parking 2 minutes walk away the room was lovely. Very private and quiet our host gave us plenty of information prior to an on arrival. She was very helpful. The room was clean and had simple self catering which was nice after a long day touring Normandy. All the local attractions are in walking distance with good food options very close by"

"A very good clean spacious room with comfortable bed & good en-suite shower. Plenty of parking & easy access to Caen centre by car (10/15mins) A very good restaurant next door & we were given a 10% discount voucher by the hotel for the restaurant. The buffet breakfast was very good, no hot food, but a great selection & more than you could eat, all the food was really fresh. The staff were always on hand to help. "

"The property was bigger than anticipated with plenty of room for all of us. The pool was a huge bonus if a little cold on cloudy days. There was everything we needed in the villa including a push bike! The villa is well placed in the centre of the DD day beaches and memorials which were very moving to visit. Port en Bissen is delightful with a market every Sunday. The only negative was the dusty surfaces. Maybe it had been a while since anyone stayed. plus the pillows, maybe 2 per person as they were flat and uncomfortable. We really loved this villa and would love to stay again in the future. "

"We loved our stay in Bayeux at the Hotel de Brunville. The staff was so kind, generous and helpful for folks who were new to France and did not speak the language. The hotel was lovely and so convenient for walking the town, getting meals and shopping. We wish we had been able to stay longer and will certainly stay again if we make it back to France."
