"Excellent staff and very clean. The Cypress Lodge was lacking comfortable places to sit indoors and out. Something critical that promotes relaxing without television or distractions. Lighting inside was full on or nothing, a dimming light or a small lamp would have been nice. But instead we played with bedside and bathroom lighting to not blind ourselves. Everything was excellent. Still a very enjoyable stay."

"This property is usually used for big events but it was also great for one person. It was very quiet and close to where I was volunteering to feed people due to flooding in Kerrville. There wasn’t a place to eat that was open during the day, but restaurants were open all around. It would be a perfect place for a quiet retreat. Big rooms, very clean, excellent staff."

"If you’re looking for a private, quiet, peaceful getaway, with very limited Internet or wireless service, then this place is for you. It was beautiful, serene, and calming. We had a cabin at the top of the hill with a small porch overlooking a lovely valley. The king sized bed was a little hard and the pillows aren’t fluffy but that’s what we like so it wasn’t an issue for us. Room includes a small refrigerator, microwave and small coffee pot. It was all very clean. There happened to be a full moon on the nights we were there so sitting on the little porch was magical at night. Also, lots of deer on the 30 minute drive into Bandera, so keep your eyes peeled if driving or riding early morning or evening. The check-in was easy, if you want early check in wait until noon. There are a few incidentals you can buy there as well. They even offer pizza and wings until 5 pm and even though we didn’t get any it was good to know. I would definitely go back here again."
