Matilda, at check in, was enormously helpful with arrangements at Rifugio Auronzo, and suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to try, making reservations for us. Lots of construction in Cortina due to the upcoming Olympics, so expect construction cranes everywhere!"

"Grand Hotel Misurina is a popular destination nestled in the mountains and steps away from the lake. The area was bustling with tourists, hikers, and families, which made for a fun stay after long days hiking nearby. There is a convenient cafe/pharmacy right under the property which opens at 7am each morning. The complementary breakfast overlooks the lake, and dinner should you choose to opt in. We dined at an authentic, cozy pizza restaurant nearby both nights. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We loved our stay! "

"Upon arrival, we were able to pay 15 EU to park right behind the hotel in downtown Cortina. We had an amazing stay at Hotel Aquila - our room had a wrap around balcony with beautiful views of the city and mountains, and the hotel's location is walkable to all the shops and restaurants. Our room was very clean and spacious and the curtains blocked out the morning sun. Amazing stay!"
