Disappointing Stay – Not as Advertised
Unfortunately, our experience at this property was far from what we expected. Upon arrival, we encountered serious cleanliness and communication issues that made our stay uncomfortable and frustrating.First, the home had a very strong odor of cat urine that was noticeable the moment we walked in. There was cat hair everywhere – on furniture, inside the microwave, and even on the supposedly clean towels. To make matters worse, we discovered mouse droppings throughout the home and even saw a mouse during our stay, which is completely unacceptable. The bedsheet had a mysterious brown stain, and the kitchen table was covered with a cheap plastic sheet that looked like it came from a dollar store.The home also felt cluttered and disorganized, with personal items from the host scattered around, giving the space a very unprofessional and unprepared feel.Communication was another major issue. The host failed to provide the entry PIN ahead of time, forcing us to track her down and wait for a delayed response just to get inside. This lack of responsiveness caused unnecessary stress and completely set the wrong tone for our trip.This property was a major disappointment and not reflective of the quality or cleanliness standards one should expect when booking through VRBO. I would not recommend staying here.
