I was planning to leave my car in this parking lot while at the football game, but I did not feel safe, leaving it there. The outside of the hotel is in horrible disrepair. The steps to the second floor were literally falling off. There were orange cones everywhere over broken cement on the second floor balcony. The room inside was in rough shape, bedcovers stained etc. The staff was really kind when checking in.

Old old place. Reminded me after that we booked my mother in there 2 years earlier for a graduation. Rough then and I didn’t remember it was the same place. Staff was nice enough. Only 1 towel for a couple in the room. Bathroom light over the loose sink didn’t work ever. Light in shower/toilet had to be jiggled just right. The bed literally had 2 sheets in total. The railings were in various states of repair/disrepair. All in all it served its purpose for a football weekend. The positive was the price for 2 nights was the same as one night at other hotels. Now I will for sure remember to place and book elsewhere.

New owner. Harry is a great guy. He worked well with our situation and even let me bring my 2 dogs. One is fairly large. My house was not move in ready and this hotel became our extended stay away from home. I highly recommend give them a chance they are making great changes.

We checked in on Friday afternoon before Homecoming weekend at MIZZOU. This was the filthiest hotel I have ever encountered. Luckily there were two other couples ahead of us and because they were refusing to stay in the available rooms- we were given the option to view the room first before checking in. The first room we saw was a two full bed, smoking room that had horribly stained comforters along with a terrible bathroom that had a tub that was not cleaned and no toiletries, and the toilet was missing it’s tank cover. I refused that room and told the manager that I had reserved a king room nom smoking as my wife has an allergy to cigarette smoke and is very sensitive, we were shown a king room that was non smoking but the air conditioner did not work. It was fairly clean and the toilet and tub were also clean and toiletries were available. Being homecoming weekend and cooler weather had just started we accepted the room only because the other available rooms in the city were $450+ a night. So we turned the air as low as it would go. I stripped the bed cover off and preformed a bed bug check and once I was satisfied that it was ok then I checked in. Trust me if I could have afforded I would have left and stayed elsewhere. Now it even gets better as I laid down and turned on the early 2000s 32 inch Visio tv I was greeted by 2 channels of local over the air free tv!! No internet and not even a phone in the room. All pictures posted had to be stock photos. Never again!!!!

Very unprofessional and unfriendly. Looks like a monthly motel. Would not stay here with my family. Pictures of lobby are not correct. They now have a security window. No coffee but would not drink it from here anyway.

Parking was easy, in the first room the light switches were not working, the faucet handle was broken, the linens were dirty, there were metal parts coming out of the bed, very dangerous for walking closer to bed. TV didn't work. After complaining they give us the other room, which were not that great but better than the first one. The toilet water tanks had different lids, not belonging to the tank. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The first room we were given the lights didn't work and it wreaked of cigarette smoke. The second room smelled like so much cleaner over cigarette smoke it was rough as well. The room was set to 85 and took all night to cool off even with freezing temperatures outside. To add to the stay the pillow cases were dirty. There was only one towel which was also visibly soiled. Then there was a loud speaker making announcements all night outside. Think this was the worst hotel I've stayed at in 40 years. In the early 2000s I stayed at a lot of Red Roof Inn through PA and NY and this was not what I remember. It's got the feel of a by the hour motel. But the staff was really kind!

We stayed in room 213 at Red Roof Inn in Columbia Missouri. The room felt very neglected and unsafe. The sink faucet leaked on the counter and under the vanity. The vanity was broken and laying under the sink in two pieces. There was an open hole in the wall just feet from the water on the floor with an exposed wire. The bath had hairs in it, so none of us felt safe to use it. The swing lock on the door didn’t have a locking mechanism severely compromising the safety of the room. We encountered bugs, burn holes in sheets and coverlet. Both beds were missing the middle blanket. Only two towels were left for three people staying in a four person room. One hand towel and zero wash clothes. The AC made such a loud noise that we didn’t use it. Room was dirty. I have photos available. Staff was friendly.
