Top Colsterworth Hotel Reviews
Cley Hall Hotel
8/10 Good
"Top breakfast, well cleaned rooms and helpful staff. Lots of parking spaces at the front and side. Positioned very close to the town centre and restaurants."
Tulip Queen, Spalding by Marston's Inns
10/10 Excellent
"Its a chain place, standard stuff really with loads of food options close by."
Candlesticks
8/10 Good
"We got a lovely welcome to Candlesticks, the room was very clean, but would benefit from some decorating. We had a bath, but no shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was in the fridge in the room, but was adequate. There are approximately 3/4 off road parking spaces available. Its just a short walk in to town."
Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Double room in main building was very clean. There’s a fan in the room. Staff at Blossoms Restaurant offered fantastic customer service. Steak was cooked to perfection. Don’t order the cheeseboard unless you like goats cheese and other very strong cheese. We asked for mild cheeses but still got the strong stuff! The resort not suitable for people with walking difficulties as on a steep incline though there are buggies available to ferry people around."
The Old Pheasant Hotel
8/10 Good
"Perfectly decent pub for 1-2 nights"
The Red Lion Hotel
8/10 Good
"IT IS WELL LOCATED IN THE TOWN WITH NEARBY PARKING, WE HAD A NICE STAY AND THE MEAL WE HAD IN THE EVENING WAS LOVELY"
Belton Woods Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort
8/10 Good
"Our quadruple room was very clean and comfortable. It overlooked the golf course which was fun. The pool was great - our kids loved it. You were provided free pool towels every time you swam plus the changing rooms were brilliant - swimming costume dryers, lovely shower gel etc. The surrounding woods were brilliant for walks - our doggies loved it. The all you can eat style buffet breakfast was lovely - the kids especially loved the pancakes which you just had to ask for along side other cooked items like porridge and omelets. Check in was a little awkward as they wanted to charge £25 per dog per night (£100) which we weren't informed about via Hotels.com - the staff member insisted this was on the hotel website but I explained that we didn't book via the website. So in the end we had to keep the dogs in the open back of the pick up which wasn't ideal. Some younger members of wait staff were a little moody and unfriendly but in the whole it was fine."
The Barnsdale, Rutland

"Lovely location and a very relaxing stay"
Redwings Lodge Uppingham
