We usually recommend that you have a car in Colorado Springs, but being that this home is in a very good location, an Uber or Lyft could be enough!

We were very pleased with the home and the amenities it provided. Nothing better than to look out the front door and see Pike's Peak. It was conveniently located to main roads that took us to all the places we wanted to visit. Will definitely stay here again.
We stayed at this property for a family vacation. The house was perfect. The location was great. Nice neighborhood. Close to Pikes Peak, Cheyenne Mountain, Cave of the Winds, Garden of the Gods, and tons of trails. We would highly recommend this property.
Home was exactly as described. Convenient location and extremely clean. The only problem we experienced was the TV/Cable was not working and when we called for assistance there was no response or resolution to it being inoperable.
Poor: poorly equipped (4 short glasses and 1 tall); 3 coffee cups. No curtains in bedrooms. no sponge in kitchen, no Kleenex, and so on. Good location. Would not recommend.
This was our first VRBO/Hoste experience. It will be our last. We arrived Saturday evening and discovered the house wasn't clean, even though the listing was under "highly rated for cleanliness" and had ants in the kitchen and laundry room! So, instead of enjoying a little down time and acclimating to the altitude before our meetings the following week, we spent Saturday evening and much of Sunday, buying supplies and cleaning! They did offer to send someone to clean it, but I saw the broom and mop they used and all the dried food stuck to the countertops, table and floor as well as the scum and mildew in the master shower and food crumbs on the carpeting and decided not to waste our time or theirs. We clearly don't have the same standards.
They told us they would reimburse us for the cleaning supplies as well as deduct some additional from our bill to compensate but we are still waiting for that to come through on our visa even though they said it had already been put through.
Trying to comunicate with them has been a challenge to say the least.
And the view!?! If you sit in the garage or on the driveway, there is a view of the mountains. Otherwise you are looking out the windows at the neighbor's windows or you can stand on the tiny back porch and watch the traffic go by, which by the way is noisy day and night.
We had a very enjoyable time. The property is very clean and modern. It is located just a few blocks from a park and walking trail and offers a spectacular view of Pikes Peak out the front door. Pulpit Rock can be seen out the back door. Our only complaint is the TV channel selection. However, we spent most of our time enjoying the outdoors with family. We would definitely stay at this property again!
Given the current circumstances in the world, we were completely pleased with the level of cleanliness at the home. The kitchen has cooking essentials, but it is really bare bone. We were able to locate what we needed to get the job done, but there wasn’t a mixing bowl large enough to scramble the eggs, for example. We had to be creative. The coffee cups are small.
A few of the window blinds were broken and/or falling down, including in both bedrooms. Bedrooms have East-facing windows, which means that they are bright in the morning, even with the blinds.
We loved that the garage door openers were left on the counter. This made coming and going through the garage very easy.
In the en suite bathroom it was apparent that there was once a dispenser in the shower for shampoo, etc. This had broken off. We had brought our own toiletries, but little hotel sized bottles would have been a nice touch.
Overall, a great place to stay in a nice neighborhood. We were close to the Flying W Ranch, Garden of the Gods, and it was a short drive to Manitou Springs and the Seven Falls. We enjoyed our time!
