Easy access to shopping, restaurants and local cultural arts. Conveniently located to many outdoor attractions. This home has been fully outfitted with new furnishings, fresh paint & has a wonderful front porch for people watching & views of Pikes Peak. And backyard for relaxing or grilling out. Private parking, easy access to grocery stores that are literally right across the street. If you're looking for convenience and relaxation, this is the place to be.
***Please note that there are exterior security cameras in the parking area and front & back areas*** there is no washer & dryer, but the laundromat is very close on the main road.

We loved our stay! Great location to the sights, cozy, inviting house with a home feel. Hosts were awesome and responsive. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. Grocery store right across the street. We felt safe and secure. Loved the front porch lounging area and mountain view!

Home was a great place for me, my grandson and son in law to stay. Close to Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods and plenty of restaurants. Clean and comfortable home. Would stay here again.

The location was great with easy access to all the sites we planned to see while we were in Colorado Springs. The home is older, the beds were comfortable, the flowers in the backyard are beautiful but the bees liked them too and the individual air-conditioning units were adequate but if you like it cold for sleeping it might not be enough.

The property was perfect for two ladies looking for a central location to play in the Springs area. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The host was quick to respond. We really enjoyed our stay. The home was located close to all the activities we had planned. Enjoyed eating outside in the back yard and enjoying coffee on the front porch. Saw deer in the backyard, squirrels and beautiful birds. Very relaxing. My daughters loved the movie selections.

Charming cozy cottage. Very clean and had everything we needed for a comfy stay. Close to everything we wanted to do. Between Old Colorado city and manitou springs which were very cute , quaint towns. Only complaint if I had one is it’s on a very busy street and we could hear cars and motorcycles all night. But really didn’t affect us much. Beautiful views of the mountains. Safeway across the street was nice.

We wanted to bring our kids to the mountains in Colorado Springs, and The Emerald Nest did not disappoint. The property was clean, the hostess was thoughtful in what she had available for us on the property (indoor/outdoor games, lots of outdoor seating, a Britta water pitcher already filled, extra blankets, etc), and the location was perfect for all we wanted to do and see while in Colorado Springs. We absolutely loved this property from the moment we walked in. It is an incredibly welcoming,cute place to stay with a great location. Parking was really convenient as well. It was great to have so many options for restaurants, along with a grocery store for items needed. The only suggestions I have are that there would be more than 2 small trash cans in the house. Also, it would be nice to have a bit more privacy in the back yard to the neighbors on the right side of the property. We had absolutely no issues, however, it was very difficult to tell where the property lines were, and we didn't want to be a bother. These are just very, very minor things, and would not change my mind for recommending / staying at this property again. Thank you for sharing your nest with us!! :)

I traveled to Colorado Springs from Omaha to hike the incline with my sister and friend. This location is perfect, perfect, perfect! It was super easy to get to the Incline, the Cog Train, downtown Manitou, downtown Old Colorado City, and Garden of the Gods. At the house, we enjoyed beautifully decorated rooms, a smaller but perfectly functional bathroom, and having coffee on the front porch with a view of the mountains. The kitchen is tiny, too small to do any large amount of cooking, but it was more than adequate for warming up leftover pizza and making breakfast in the morning. Everything was clean and the beds/linens were very comfortable. There is a large stash of extra blankets if you need them. Overall we had a delightful stay and the property was perfect for our needs.

My sister and I spent a weekend here in early November to catch up and spend time together after a long absence. We had a great time! The host was available via text if I needed. The home was absolutely charming, clean, and so cutely decorated! We didn't have a lot of plans other than dining out and shopping, so we hung out at the house a lot and really enjoyed it. It is slightly noisy being so close to a busy street, but bonus is that it's so close to everything we wanted to do, it made it convenient for us and saved a lot of time getting from place to place. The beds are super comfortable, the yard is super cute. Fun to sit on the front porch but again with the traffic - no fault of anyone, just happens to be the location. We would definitely stay here again. Would like to come back when it's a little warmer to spend more time outdoors in the back yard.
